||TWENTY||

FORTH POV

    I sighed and looked down at my watch. It is already 12:30 and we aren't even done yet. I still haven't found a plug in for the charger, which mean’t that I still haven’t got a hold of Beam.

    “Forth.” Cake said coming over to me. “Why don’t you go home. You look extremely tired. You’ve been here just about all day. Let us take of the rest. It’s the least we can do.” She said patting my shoulder. I smiled up at her and nodded.

    “Thank you. I’ll be back tommorow to help.” I said standing up. She nodded her head and walked away.

    I grabbed my things and walked out to the car. I sighed and got into the drivers seat.

    I needed to go see Beam. He probably wasn’t awake but I needed to see him. Seeing him is what was keeping me awake.

    I rubbed my hands down my face and went to start the car. When I looked at the radio my charger was plugged into it. I groaned and hit my head on the steering wheel.

    I could have brought my phone out here to charge it. I had been so wrapped up in everything with S.O.T.U.S that I forgot about my charger.

    I quickly pulled my phone out and plugged it in. I waited for it to turn on before leaving.

    On my way to Beam's, it started raining, hard. It was hard to see twenty feet in front of the car. After an hour, it still hadn’t let up.

     I pulled into Beam’s dorm parking lot and parked the car in front. Instead of staying in the car where I knew I would pass out, I got out to stand in the rain.

    The cold water hitting my face helped to keep me awake.

    I pulled out my phone and dialed Beam’s number.

    “Hello?” Beam answered in a husky voice. He was probably asleep and I woke him up.

    “How is it?” I heard another male’s voice in the background. Beam ignored him.

    Did he have sex with someone else? I felt my heart stop beating for a second.

    “Hello?” Beam said again.

    “Beam.” I said in a low voice.

“Forth?” He asked in a more awake tone. I nodded to myself.

    “I’m sorry.” I said. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. It’s not like it would have mean’t anything anymore. “Can you come downstairs?” I asked. Beam didn’t say anything, he just hung up.

    Does this mean he wasn’t coming downstairs? I waited for a few moments more before turning back to my car.

    As I was about to open it, I heard Beam’s voice.

    “Forth?” He asked. I turned around and laughed.

    He looked tired. His hair was messed up and his cheeks were a little red. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a white hoddie, probably shirtless underneath. I felt bad for waking him up.

    I didn’t get to say anything before he ran to me and wrapped his arms around my neck.

    I was a bit taken aback but wrapped my arms, tightly around his waist. I pulled him closer and burried my face in his neck.

    I breathed in his scent. He smelled amazing. I had missed his smell. I had missed him. I didn’t think he was gonna come downstairs.

    “What are you doing out here?” He asked pulling back. I didn’t remove my hands from his waist, and he didn’t remove his from my neck.

    “I had to see you.” I said. Beam whipped some of the water off of my face.

    “Are you crazy. It’s freezeing, and you look like you haven’t slept in a while. You could get sick.” He said checking if I had a tempature. “You’re warm.” He said. I laughed and grabbed his hand.

    “I had to see you.” I repeated. “I’m sorry for what you saw. There is absolutly nothing going on between me and Chai. There never was.” I explained.

    “What about that girl that answered your phone?” He asked. I sighed and looked down.

    “That was one of the freshman girls. She’s good friends with Ming. There is nothing I swear.” I said. I took a deep breath before looking up. “I like you. And if it isn't obvious enough already, you seriously need to be checked out." I said, laughing softly. Beam was silent, looking at me.

    “What?” He asked silently. Instead of repeating myself, I kissed him.

    Beam didn’t hesitate to kiss back. He wrapped his arms around my neck again.

    I licked his bottom lip and he gladly opened his mouth to me. I smiled against his lips.

    I pulled back and whiped the hair that was sticking to his forehead.

    “Let’s get you inside.” He said grabbing my hand. I smiled.

    Even though he didn’t say it back it was pretty clear he liked me.

    When Beam was pulling me towards the dorm, I felt a wave of tiredness hit me. My knees buckled underneath me. I felt myself fading as I closed my eyes.

Did I just pass out?

BEAM POV

    “Forth?” I said shaking him. I checked to see if he was still breathing. He was, he had just passed out.

    “What the hell?” Pha asked coming outside.

    “Just shut up and help me get him inside.” I said pulling him up.

    Pha ran to his other side and held him up. Kit held the door open for us.

    When we got upstiars, I laid him on the bed and started undressing him.

    “Woah.” Pha said, him and Kit covered their eyes. “Kit and I will go get some medicine for him while you do that.” He said grabbing his keys and they both left.

    They had stayed with me last night so I wasn’t alone.

    I continued to undress Forth and threw his wet clothes in the floor.

    I grabbed and shirt out of my closet and a pair of boxers for him to wear. I slipped them on him and wiped the remaining water off his face.

    I grabbed a thermometer from the bathroom and took his tempature. 38° Celsius.

    God. What was he thinking? He should have just come upstairs.

    Pha and Kit came back a few minutes later with his medicine.

    I couldn’t give him any until he woke up. I sighed and covered him up with the blanket.

    “We’re gonna go.” Kit said grabbing Pha’s arm. Pha nodded.

    “We’ll be back tommorow.” He said. I nodded and followed them to the door.

    I locked it behind them and walked back to the bed.

    I climbed in on the other side.

    I scooted closer to Forth and wrapped my arm around him and held him close.

    “I like you too.” I whispered in his ear.
