Keith is on his way to pick up Rose, he notices multiple car wrecks, but thinks nothing of it. As he nears Rose's high school he notices multiple dead bodies and screaming children. He gets out of his car and grabs a random child. "Hey! What's going on do you know my sister?" The child turns around and tries to bite Keith, he shoves the child and trips over himself hitting his head against his side mirror. Disoriented he tries to back himself up as the walker inches closer to him. He shuts his eyes but feels a splash on his face. He opens them and meets the eyes of Rose who slammed a history book into the walker's head. She helps her brother up and shoves him into the car speeding off. Keith rubs his groggily as his vision focuses on the road ahead of him. "Rosie slow down, why are you driving so fast?" "We just need to get out of here." "Okay well slow down and, LOOK OUT!" Keith shouts and Rose slams the break just in time. The car comes to a screeching stop in front a horrible car wreck, a woman crawls out from under the wreck dragging a child out. "Please take my daughter, she isn't bitten but I am, please look after her. Her name is Amaris." Keith runs out and carries Amaris and places her in the back seat, and checking for bites, after confirming she was safe. "Thank you so much, thank you" the woman thanked. Rose and Keith switched seats and drove away from the crying mother, they watched her get swarmed out of the rear view mirror.
