Louie's POV

God I love her so much. I do but she will never believe me. I love her so much more than I have ever loved anyone, including Charlotte, I broke up with her yesterday. I was sad at first but then I reminded myself of Danielle and how much I love her. I need to show her how I feel, but how? I start thinking about that guy, Alex is his name. God I want to kill him so much! How dare he kiss her. She is mine. But then the sad thought hits me. She isn't mine and every time I look at her I can feel her slipping further away from me. I want to curl up and cry, but I can't. I must be strong. I lay on my bed throwing my phone up and catching it when it rings. I look who it is. It's her. I answer on the first ring.

"Hey baby" I say.

"Hey Lou" I loved that nickname. It made me feel special, like she wanted me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah thanks but um..." Moments past before she said anything.

"You still there?" I ask getting worried.

"Yeah I need a favour Lou. Will you help me?"

"Of course babe name it"

She took a deep breath. "My aunt is getting married on the weekend. At the last family 'get together' my cousin bet me £200 that I wouldn't have a boyfriend who was completely in love with me before my aunt's wedding. Her family is rich by the way. I need you to be that boyfriend. Just for the night. You can have £100 of course I just need to prove her wrong. Because ever since I can remember she has had this amazing boyfriend and they are completely in love. I just need you to act like you love me so much. I understand if you won't do it, its a lot to ask but if you did I would be so grateful." She was panting by the end.

I was so shocked. She wanted me to be her boyfriend. Even if it was only for the night. I would make her see that I suit her, that we belong together. There is no way I would turn this down.

"Of course I will do it baby, but better still don't pay me Consider this a favour."

She gasped.

"Are you serious? Will you actually? Oh My God thank you so much. My dress is light blue. Could you get a blue tie or something. Oh God thank you so much! I owe you!"

I smiled it was so worth it to hear her like this.

"Sure anything for you. Should I pick you up?" I asked her.

"You have a car?"

"Yeah believe it or not my dad is a driving instructor. He taught me and gave me the test I past but legally I'm not regulated. But I could always get him to drive us there. In a long black limo like a chauffeur?"

She laughed.

"See Lou this is why I love you. Always try your best. You are wonderful."

Love me?? No calm down. She loves me as a friend.

"Okay babe name the time and place"

"Saturday night 5:00 at my house. You know the address. I can't thank you enough Lou. You are my hero, my saviour my night in shining armour."

"It's a pleasure baby" I was mentally jumping up and down in excitement.

"Okay thank you so much. Lou see you tomorrow at school."

"Okay baby bye"

She ended the call and I jumped up and down on my bed punching the air. Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!

I ran downstairs and walked into the kitchen.

"Dad" I called.

"Yep?"

"Can you take me and my girlfriend to a wedding on Saturday night. Her house at 5:00?"

"Sure" He replied easily. My dad. So simple. No questions about this girlfriend or a wedding.

"Cheers" I walked out of the room.

"Hold on" he called me. I walked back into the room.

"Mm"

"Girlfriend? and what's this wedding about?"

I sighed. Okay maybe not that simple.

"This girl called Danielle who is absolutely gorgeous has asked me to go to her aunt's wedding with her"

He smiled. "Good for you lad" He turned back to the TV. Meanwhile I went online to look at suits. I wanted a smart one. I knew it would be expensive. But with the couple million my Grandmother left me I might be able to pull it off. I realized a Giorgio Armani suit may be a bit showy for a 16 year old but I wanted to impress her. I bought the suit and a small light blue flower for the button hole. I was pleased with myself after that. But then I thought. A ring? I realized I was too young to propose and I know she would never say yes, after all this was pretend, but a promise ring? To make her promise to remember I loved her. It would be perfect. I walked into town and into the jewellers. I instantly spotted the perfect one. It was a shiny platinum band with a single diamond on it. I knew I was going way over the top here. She probably wouldn't accept it. I knew it was stupid to spend so much on a ring. But I would do anything for her. I bought the ring. I didn't show my dad he would have made me take it straight back. I didn't even look at the price. I told the guy not to tell me. Just take it straight off my card. I kept it in its box and put it in my jacket. I was so excited.
