Y/N ran home after school. Her teacher had talked to her after the last lesson so she was stressed now, her mom always wanted her to be home a special time. And that time had passed 3 minutes ago.
When she opened the front door to their house her mom stood there. She looked angry.
-"10 minutes late." Said y/n mom.
-"My teacher wanted to talk to me after our last lesson." Y/n said breathing fast.
-"About what? Did you do something wrong?" Y/n mom said angrily.
Y/n stood quiet in front of her mom.
-"Talk to me y/n."
-"I talked to my friend instead of listen to the teacher." Y/n said looking down.
Her mom raised her hand to hit her but y/n turned away and ran out of the house. She left her angry mom behind. She was so upset, why was her mom like that.
Y/n didn't know what to do anymore. She sat down on the grass and started to cry. She didn't hear the footsteps walk towards her. Someone sat down beside her and started talking to her but she didn't listen. She didn't want to talk to someone right now.
-"Why are u crying? He said. Y/n recognized his voice and raised her head to see her friend Henry.
-"My mom." Y/n said quite and looked down.
-"What've happen?" Henry asked.
-"She... she was angry because I came home later than she wanted... and she almost hit me." Y/n said.
Henry looked angry and confused.
-"Your mom?"
-"Yeah I know. I didn't think she could ever do something like that." Y/n said with new tears in her eyes. Her mom had never done anything like that before. Y/n was scared, it hurt when she thought about it.
-"I don't know what she will do when I get back home."
-"I can follow you back if you want." Henry offered.
-"Do you want that?" Y/n nodded and they both stood up. They began to walk home to y/n.
Y/n was nervous, she looked up at Henry when they were outside her home.
-"I should wait here." He said.
-"Okey."
Y/n opened the door and walked in. After she closed it her mom had come up to her. She didn't look angry anymore.
-"I'm so sorry y/n." She said to her scared daughter, she hugged y/n.
-"I promise that it won't happen again." Y/n said.
-"I don't care if it happen again y/n. I don't even know why I want you to be home a special time. I didn't mean to hurt you."
-"But you didn't hit me."
-"I think I had if you hadn't run away, I'm so sorry."
After y/n had calmed down she remembered Henry. She opened the door quickly, Henry was still there.
-"Hey, I'm sorry. I forgot you were here." Y/n said looking down.
-"It doesn't matter." Henry said.
-"Do you want to come in?"
-"Yeah." He said and walked in.
They walked up to y/n bedroom. Henry sat down on her bed while she closed the door.
-"So how was she?" He asked.
-"She wasn't angry anymore and she apologized." Y/n said and sat beside him.
-"Good." He said smiling.
