Chapter 6

Laxus P.O.V.

I woke up to a bright light appearing through the cirtins of my bedroom window. I had my eyelids closed but it was still too bright. So I opened up my eyes and saw beautiful blonde hair on my chest. I looked closer and saw Lucy laying her head on my chest and she had her arms around me. I had my arms around her waist cause she was pretty much sleeping ontop of me. I smiled and kissed her head. Luckily she didn't wake up. Then I remembered what happened last night. Lucy had a deep cut on her stomach. I know she done the best she could to heal it but it wasn't working. Luckily I was able to it fixed up before it got badly affected. I felt Lucy moving and I looked at her and she was looking back.
"Morning sleeping beauty." I said with a chuckle.
"Morning scar face." She said and giggled slightly.
"Scar face eh?" I asked.
"Its one of your nicknames."
"One of them?" I aksed another question.
"Yup." She said smiling. I couldn't help but smile back.
"Okay princess." I chuckled. She had a blush on her face. She then got up and tried to stretch but I stopped her by grabbing her hand.
"The stitches might undo." Was all I had to say and she nodded her head.
"You want breakfast?" I asked.
"Yes please. Could you make pancakes please?" She asked with puppy dog eyes. I smiled at her and nodded my head. I was planning on making it anyways. I went to the kitchen and grabbed what I needed. As I was cooking a felt a pair of tiny arm snake around my stomach. I smiled when I turned my head a bit and saw the most beautiful celestial mage smiling with her eyes close and her head on my back. I chuckled a bit and stopped cooking, since I was done anyways. I removed her arms for a moment turned around and put them back together and hugged back. She felt a bit cold which confused me a bit.
"Hey you okay?" I asked
"Im just could and my body is sore." She said and looked up at me.
"Well with all them marks on your body I can see why." I said
"Yea." She looked back down and barried her head in my chest.
"C'mon lets eat then I'll get you some warm clothes." I said with a small smile.
"That'll be nice." She said and gave a small smile back.

Time skip normal P.O.V. cause Im lazy

After Lucy and Laxus ate their breakfast and Laxus gave Lucy some of his old clothes, they didn't want Natsu to sniff out Lucy, keeping her warm, they decided that they would stay in all day and wait to go back to the guild tomorrow. So now they are sitting in the living room, cuddling with each other but being careful not to harm Lucy since she is in a fragile state at the moment. They were just sitting there making small comments here and there, till Lucy started a conversion.
"Thanks alot by the way." She said.
"For what?" Laxus asked.
"For everything. You saved me from Natsu, you returned my feelings. You gave me a new home. And you're protecting me." She answered.
"Lucy, I'd do anything for you. I loved you for a very long time now. I wish I could've saved you sooner but now you're here with me and I'm so happy and I'm never letting you go. I'll protect you with everything I have." He said and kissed her head.
"I know. Thank you." She said.
"Your welcome." He replied. They sat close to each otge til Lucy said sometging again.
"Im suprised you haven't tried to do anything with me." She said with a giggle and a slight blush but Laxus was also blushing.
"Well thats because I want to wait till you're ready and your wounds are healed." He said looking away but looked at the key user at the corner of his eye.
"Thanks." Was all she could say.
"No problem. Im not a perv like everyone else in the guild." He said with a slight smirk.
"Ooh are you sure about that?" She said with a brow raised also smirking.
"Positive. Besides I only have eyes for you, blondie." He chuckled and kissing her nose, head, and cheek. She couldnt help but giggle.
"Okay, okay I believe you." She said with a blush.
"Good." He then got off the couch and stretched.
"I'll be back blondie. Imma take a shower. Stay here." He said before walking to the bathroom.
"Okay." She watched as he went in. A few minutes passed and she got bored so she got up and walked to the room which was past the bathroom. As she was walking past ir she heard Laxus singing, only faintly though so she decided to put her ear against the door to hear better and figure out what he was singing.
"I kissed the scars on her skin. I still think you're beautiful, and I don't ever wanna loose my bestfriend..." She was able to hear him sing. She figured out what song it was, A Match Into The Water by Peirce In The Veil.
"I screamed out 'God you vulture. Bring her back or take me with her'." She heard his voice say. She couldn'thelp but to listen him sing more. Then when the song was over, she heard the water stop and she quickly but quietly ran back to the couch. She acted like she didn't move at all and just sat there. Laxus then came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist covering his manhood. He loked at Lucy and saw her blushing while she had her mouth opened a bit like she wanted to say something. But no words would come out so she closed her mouth and looked away. He chuckled and went to the room and gotten dress. He came back in some sweatpants and thats pretty much it. His hair was slightly wet and spiky. Lucy always thought he was hot but he looked even more hot she looked at him and drooled a bit. Laxus was about to sit down but then Lucy had gotten up.
"My turn." She said then went to tge bathroom and done her thing and sang. Laxus heard her sing Wonderland by Natalia Kills from the couch. He was able to hear good and he heard her earlier when he was in the shower. Hr chuckled at how cute she can be sometimes. Then she came out in a towel. He looked at her up and down, looking at her scars and bruises. Not her body. She blushed slightly thinking he was though.
"Um I need clothes." Was all she said and he got up, walked yo her, grabbed her hand and and started to kiss the bruises and scars lightly. Lucy just looked at him, holding onto her towel with her other hand. He stopped and looked at her, cupping her cheek in his hand.
"Your so beautiful." He said.
"No. With all these I don't think so." She said gesturing to all the mark on her.
"You'll always be beautiful. No matter what. Scars, bruises it won't matter to me. You're beautiful always." He said while looking into her big brown beautiful orbs as she looked into his deep blue ones.
"Thank you." She said quiet and blushing
"Your welcome." He reploed and leaned down and kissed her for a moment. He smuled sweetly at her and she smuled back.
"I still need clothes lover boy." She said with a giggle.
"Oh yea hold on." He said and they went to tge bedroom and he got out some clothes for her. "Now shuu. I need to get dress." She said shuing him away wiyh a smile. He left but left tge door cracked open incase she needed help and he couldjust walk through the door. Soon she came out in a baggy shirt and some baggy pants. The shirt went down to her knees and the pants were too big. So she just went back to the room and came back out the shirt and underwear but Laxus couldn't see it. She walked to the couch and sat next to Laxus, snuggling close to him. He wraped his arm around her shoulders.
"Nice voice by the way." He said and saw her with a small blush.
"Thanks." She replied then yawned.
"You tired?" He asked looking down at her as she dug her head into his chest. She nodded her head and yawned again. He chuckled at how cute she looked and picked her up and carried her bridal style to the bedroom and set her on the bed. He climbed next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist being as gental as he can. She seemed so fragile like a china doll and he never wanted to break her. She wrap her arm around his chest before saying,
"I love you Laxus."
"I love ya too blondie." And with that, they both fell asleep.
