What was it? Who was it? Why was it?

The date was 8/19/17 on a friday night.

I was having a fun time at my best friend Marilyn's house, but suddenly pepper was gone! We also couldn't find Marilyn's mom either! Eventually we found her with pepper, Marilyn got really suspisous over her mom, so she took pepper away from her. Pepper was barking at the window at the bed we were laying in. Marilyn and I were really freaked out so we grabbed weapons. scissors and a bat.

We heard knocking on the front door so Marilyn oped the blinds, but there was nobody there. Marilyn was so scared that she thought of calling 911! We now heard the glass door open so we DASHED into her room and under her bed. (Just so you know there was cabinets under her bed so they would never suspect up being under it) We were just about to think the coast when clear when.. the door opened. We were silent, scared, we didn't want to get hurt. After five minutes or more we left the 'safety bunker'. Her mom was still outside so Marilyn started to listen to her mom's conversation. Marilyn turned her face toward mine sharply.

"My mom is pretending to be my aunt! What? "She was saying stuff like, It's ok, I'm sorry about (Mom's name)." i just decided I was going to hide in the laundry room. We were worried about Pepper but just then, the door to Marilyn's room opened again. We froze and sat in front of the door so they couldn't open the door if they tried. Then there was a knock. Two knocks.. Three knocks ... "We are going to die." I whispered. "No we are not Pepper will protect us." ... I hope.
