I LAUGHED at how mad Hermione was at the Daily Prophet she was reading what Rita Skeeter had published about me and Harry. I ate my piece of toast as Hermione slammed the paper down on the table making all of us look up at her when she huffed. I raised an eyebrow "Hermione calm down at least we know that whatever she said isn't true that should be enough." I said
"It would be enough if she hadn't included such a fake love story about you leaving him after and how she wonders how Harry is feeling about it all."
I laughed as Harry only smiled at another direction and juice falling out of his mouth. I grimaced. "You're too obvious Harry." His cheeks turned red as Hermione nodded "Why do you even like Cho Chang?" Cho Chang was a Ravenclaw in the same year as us. "I don't know it's just something about her." Just as I was about to say something an owl flies in and lets a letter fall right in front of me. A letter from mother. I smiled as Ron groaned "What about me?" I ignored him. "Parcel for you Mr. Weasley." I turned around as Nigel handed Ron his parcel. Nigel was the first year that Ron promised would get Harry's autograph for him if he delivered his mail to him today.
I quickly opened my letter.
Ana
I and your father know that the Yule Ball is something very important to a young girl like you so we decided on giving you a small present. Here is some money that you can use to buy yourself a dress of your desire. I hope you have a wonderful time with the person of your choice my love.
With all our love,
Mom and Dad
I smiled but decided not to mention it while Ron opened his present. His face scrunched up in disgust as he stood up to look at the robes mom had sent him. "Mom gave me a dress." He said holding it up. Harry grinned "Is there a bonnet? Aha!" Harry laughed as he held up the bonnet to Ron. His face said it all. He hated it I almost couldn't help but chuckle. "I think these were meant for you, Ana." He said I shook my head hard as I held up my letter.
He rolled his eyes as he walked down the table to Ginny. "I think these were meant for you, Ginny." Her face scrunched up in disgust as well "Ew no that's ghastly." Hermione burst out in laughter.
"They're not for Ginny, they're for you."
Everyone close to us burst out laughing.
"Dress robes."
"Dress robes? For what?"
"Oh come on Ron, The Yule Ball!" I exclaimed he huffed and threw the robes back into the box closing it and moving it to the side. "What did they give you?" He asked trying to ignore the laughter of our brothers beside him. He snatched the letter out of my hands and grew angry as he read the short letter.
"This is enough galleons for both of us to buy dress robes why couldn't they just send us this money and not send me that horrendous thing."
Hermione snatched the money out of Ron's hands. "Nope this is for Ana, just Ana it costs a lot to be a girl." She winked at me and I smiled. Ron stood up anger rolling off of him in waves. "We're twins we share everything." Hermione just smiled.
"You may be twins but that doesn't mean she can't live on her own Ron. Let her have something for herself for once." Ron huffed but sat down otherwise. Hermione handed me back the galleons. Ron stayed quiet after that.

We were all made to go to "dance class" with McGonagall after all our classes it was a class we apparently needed.
"The Yule ball is first and foremost a dance." When she said everyone started talking- does nobody really know that the yule ball is a dance.
She silenced them and started talking about the dance. She turned to Ron as he said something, not really whispering as he should have been.
"Mr.Weasley." Ron looked up at her with scared eyes I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing at his face. "Yes?"
"Join me please." She pulled him by his sweater and put her arm on his shoulder -I knew where this was headed- "Now put your arm on my waist." His face was horrified "What?"
"My waist." Someone whistled as his hand touched her waist. My face flushed at the embarrassment I could feel from him but I still couldn't help from laughing as Mr.Filch turned on the music and they started dancing. "Children on your feet! Find a partner and dance!" Every girl was on their feet in seconds. I gripped the chair with my right hand as I was left alone. "Would you like to dance with me, Ana?" I looked up.
"I would love to Neville." I slid my hand into his and he raised it to his shoulder his hand going to my waist. We danced to the song and Neville had a huge dorky smile on his face, you could easily tell he loved to dance. "You're pretty good at this Neville," I said.
"Thank you, Ana, you're pretty good too." I grinned "I used to dance around in the kitchen with my father when I was younger." He smiled at me as we twirled around the room.

Finding a date for Ron AND Harry seemed to be pretty hard for both of them. Always complaining about how we girls travel in a pack. Hermione and I laughed so hard at that. But all jokes aside finding a date for myself seemed to be harder.
I didn't have anyone in mind and anyone who tried to approach me just froze up and ran away. I doomed myself date-less. After being in an awkward situation with Hermione by the lake I could tell who she wanted to go to the ball with. I would have been happy if it was anyone other than Victor Krum. But I'm supposed to be happy for her even though the person she really wanted to go with was right in front of her the whole time.
Writing notes should have been the only thing on my mind until George threw a crumpled up paper to him which read "Get a move on or all the good ones will be gone." I snickered quietly.
"Who are you going with then?" I asked Fred who smirked as he crumpled up another piece of paper throwing it over to Angelina Johnson. She gave him an evil look until he pointed at her and then himself and did a very ghastly dance and she smiled, nodding very shyly. I laughed as Ron just became very annoyed.
"Hey, Hermione you're a girl."
"Yea what about it?"
I almost died as Ron tried to do the dance Fred did and got hit by Professor Snape.
"At this rate, you'll have to take Ana," George said, I rolled my eyes as Ron groaned. "That is the most embarrassing thing I could do." He groaned once more and let himself fall on the table. "Do you have a date yet Harry?" I asked as I massaged Ron's neck. Harry blushed "I was hoping to go with Cho Chang. I think I will ask her later." I nodded and Ron picked up his head "It's normal for a guy but for a girl it's just sad." He said, staring specifically at Hermione. She turned red, with anger.
She got up with her notebook, "For your information, someone has already asked me." She turned her notebook in with Snape and came to get her bag but went up to Ron's face, "And I said yes!" She stormed out of the great hall. I shook my head at him "Way to go Ron." I got up as well and turned in my notebook and left.
I walked outside by the courtyard, it was snowing. I shivered as I blew warm air into my hands and rubbed them together. The wind picked up a little and more snow started falling and started sticking to my hair making it look funny. Red and white. It actually looked quite pretty. I heard someone clear their throat and I looked up.
"What are you doing out here little red."
Little Red really?- The nickname made my heart contract a bit and I looked back down. "Nothing." He walked up to me. Stopping when he was right in front of me. I could see my nose becoming red and I hated it, I wasn't blushing. He touched my arm and I flinched.
"Draco?"
