Chapter 20: Fire

Naruto sat at his desk, his hands folded as he looked at the two remaining members of his team, Sasuke and Sakura, one who was glaring daggers at him and the other looking sick, on the verge of puking.

"Sasuke, it's come to my attention that you are angry, care to explain why?" Naruto said, his face showing calmness as he did so, not even raising an eyebrow as the dark haired Uchiha stepped forward.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He yelled. "You killed the Third Hokage! You even betrayed the village, meaning you betrayed us!" He shouted, pointing at Sakura and himself.

"Sasuke, I would never betray my students, what I did was for the good of Konoha, and we will prosper that way." Naruto took out a file. "Itachi Uchiha, current Missing Ninja of Konoha," He watched as Sasuke stiffened at the name, his hands balling into fist. "Or so that's what the Bingo Book says, however," He slid the file across the desk, right in front of Sasuke. "That's not what this says."

"What are you getting at?" Sasuke growled, his Sharingan active as he glared at the peach colored file.

"Itachi Uchiha was ordered by the Third Hokage and Danzo Shimura to eliminate the Uchiha Clan to prevent a coup d'état, his only request was to spare his younger brother."

"Me..." Sasuke whispered slowly, opening the file, his eyes widening as he read. "This is horseshit!" He yelled as he fell to the ground on his knees, causing Sakura to immediately go comfort the boy, but he shook her off, trembling.

"Hokage-sama," An emotionless voice said from behind Sasuke, a voice he knew too well. "Maybe I can show him the truth of that day." Sasuke slowly turned around, his eyes wide as he looked at his older brother, the one who killed his clan and his parents right in front of him.

"Itachi..." Sasuke whispered, glaring at the man, whose black eyes bore into his Sharingan ones.

"I think that would be appropriate, go ahead." Naruto replied before Itachi's Sharingan activated as it began spinning, causing Sasuke to collapse on the ground and Itachi's eye began bleeding.

"He...understands now." Itachi said through deep breaths. Naruto gave him a genuine smile.

"Take your brother home Itachi, it's been awhile since you've been there." Itachi bowed, an occasional smile gracing his lips.

"Thank  you, Hokage-sama." Naruto waved him off.

"Meh, that means you owe me two things." Naruto said before Itachi disappeared in a shushin, with his hand on Sasuke, leaving only Sakura and Naruto in the room.

"How are you feeling, Sakura?" He asked, genuine concern in his voice. Sakura rubbed her elbow, unsure of what to say.

"I don't know sensei, this is just a lot to process in such a short amount of time." She whispered, making Naruto nod in understanding.

"It is, and I apologize for that, but change was needed, I'm sure you understand that." Sakura slowly nodded. "But I won't force any ideas upon you, you're still my precious little student." Sakura's cheeks turned a slight pink.

"S-shut up...idiot." A bead of sweat dripped off of Naruto's forehead as he deadpanned.

"Tsundere much?" He muttered before waving her off. "If you want to be a medic, you'll find the best medic in the world at Training Grounds 7 tomorrow morning at six a.m., I'd suggest arriving an hour late and with some ibuprofen, she's a drunk." Sakura opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out and she just nodded before bowing quickly and running out of the office.

"Anbu-chan!" He yelled as a purple haired Anbu with a cat mask on appeared. "Please get Kakashi-senpai in here with the said drunk, I need to talk to them both."

"I thought I told you not to call me Anbu-chan..." The woman muttered as she stood up, opening the door. Naruto grinned.

"But you're the only girl on your team, so I know you'll answer when I call you Anbu-chan!" Yugao sighed under her mask before sitting in the chair at the corner of the room, being very unprofessional, though, Naruto didn't care in the slightest.

Then, Kakashi and a blonde woman followed by a brown haired woman and a pig walked in, the blonde being tied up and slung over the masked man's shoulder, who's eyes had dropped lazily as he looked at Naruto.

"Bout time Kaka-senpai, I thought you would be three days late instead of three hours this time." Kakashi set the blonde woman down, who narrowed her eyes at Naruto, her voice muffling as she tried to speak through the gag that was in her mouth.

"Well, she wasn't exactly compliant, so I had to, um, tie her up and use several chakra restrictors so she didn't use her strength, the other woman, Shizune, however was quite pleasing with the process, and believe it or not, I think she's happy to be home." The said woman had the decency to blush in embarrassment.

Naruto sighed. "Ungag the old lady." Kakashi did as he was told and removed the gag, only to regret it as she immediately started talking.

"You? You're the Fifth Hokage? Don't make me laugh you miserable bastard! There's no way a brat like you could become Hokage! Where's the old man, I know he's behind this." Naruto's eyes narrowed as the Senju spoke.

"Tsunade," He spoke harshly, glaring at the woman as he emitted Killing Intent in the air, causing her to freeze. "Hiruzen Sarutobi is dead. There was a revolution, my side of Konoha who wanted, no, needed change, and the part that didn't want change. I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to know which side won." Tsunade's eyes widened.

"You killed Sarutobi-sensei?" She said in disbelief. Naruto smirked.

"And that traitorous teammate of yours."

"You're lying," Tsunade denied, not wanting to accept that. "There's no way a brat like you, who can't be even older than 14, could be able to kill Orochimaru and Sarutobi-sensei." Naruto let out a loud, humorless laugh before he appeared before the blonde Senju in a burst of speed, cupping her cheeks with one hand as he looked deep into her eyes.

"Sorry, I don't speak bitch. You're one of the only Sannin left, and right now, you haven't done anything productive for the last twenty years unlike your living teammate, who is currently doing intelligence work in Ame. I only have a simple request for you, no, a god damn order. You will train Sakura Haruno to be a medic nin, one of the best in the field, and you will also be the head of the hospital. You can change whatever you like in these regards, and you will also be paid and well taken care of I assure you, now listen to your Hokage damnit!" He shouted the last part, making Tsunade flinch.

"Y-yes Hokage-sama." She muttered out, causing Naruto to smile.

"I don't wish to be hated Tsunade, it's not my intention to be cruel, but I will do what I have to do to make sure none of the my students die again." He cracked his neck before going to sit at his desk.

"Meet Sakura Haruno at training grounds 7 tomorrow morning at six, and please, drink all you want tonight, say that the Hokage will cover your tabs." Tsunade's grim expression lit up instantly.

"I'm starting to like you brat." Naruto smirked.

"I would hope so."

Sorry for the late update, been busy editing my original story and writing Hidden Mask. This book is almost completed, only a few more chappies left, but the ending will be epic, I promise.

Anyways, yeah.
