THE VON MEER ACADEMY

The Van Meer Academy (TVMA) is one of three boarding schools for the Antian Race. Founded by Hansel Von Meer Von Meer and Alexis Gerard in 1877. Other two schools are in Alaska, USA and Cape Verde, South Africa. Its aim is to develop all students' talents in their powers and abilities and also maintain excellence in through, sporting and artistic endeavours.

The founders Hansel Von Meer and Alexis Gerard where childhood friends who grew up in a gated community near the Alaskan school Cypress Prep and had dreamed of having a school of their own. Their aim in founding the school was as a safe haven for adolescences to learn about their predecessors without being fully enthralled into the supernatural world and taught the prejudices of the older generations.

The Academy campus consists of a variety of modern and traditional architecture. The most notable buildings are The bell-tower, which is over 140 years old and the oldest building at the school that has not been refurbished since its construction in 1877. The school also houses three libraries, an indoor sports complex, training ground both outdoors and a specified area underground.

TVMA offers a demanding bilingual and bicultural education with the language of instruction being English, German or French depending on the student academic program; however, students may take many language classes while at the academy such as Ancient Latin or Greek, Sumerian, Chinese and many more.

Many of the students before arriving at the school do not know about their history or find out soon before arriving. The parents of these children did not want their children living life afraid of people finding out and in their best interest sent them to the school to at least hone their powers before they decide to live their amount the humans or in the Antian world.
