"Shawn I don't know if I want to go on this ride. It looks... Scary." I'm highly afraid of heights and Shawn is a dare devil.
"Nonsense, T. It's completely safe. If you want I'll hold your hand the entire time. Come on. Pleeeeeeaaaasssseee." His pouty face was convincing enough to make me give in.
"Ugh fine. But I'm holding you to that promise."
The ride was called "The Terror Cliff" which seemed like a death wish. It had loops and a cliff where you drop straight down to what seems to be your death.
We board the ride and Shawn immediately grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers. The ride takes off with a ton of speed. The first loop sends screams out of my mouth and incoherent excited noises.
"Are you ok?"
Evidently I had been staring at Shawn.
"Ya I'm-- I'm hum I'm fine." Oh you know just holding back my vomit.
"Ok good. Now get up."
It hadn't occurred to me that the ride had stopped until Shawn held out his hand to help me out of the small roller coaster car.
I grabbed his hand in mine to jump out of the cart but when we head for the next ride, he doesn't let go.
"Shawn, you don't mind people seeing you in public with me? Like holding hands and such? What would the fans think?"
"You ask a lot of questions but no, let them think, and who cares? They should like me for me, not for my girlfriend choices."
Girlfriend?
Girlfriend.
Girlfriend!
"G-girlfriend?" I stutter.
"Ummm uh yea."
"But I never said buffalo."
"BUFFALO! You said BUFFALO!" He reaches down and kisses me, still holding my hand in his.
"I'd say buffalo a thousand times if it meant that we have more times like this."
"Buffalo!" He kisses me again.
"Shawn, I just buffalo to make a point."
"buffalooooo."
This kid I swear.
"Haha ok now stop as much as I love it."
He kisses me again.
"Gosh darn it, Shawn I didn't say-"
"Can I just kiss my buffalo loving girlfriend without a reason?" He smirks. Takes my hand in his and walks toward the food stand.
