Every hundred years, two special beings are born..

Both are gifted with a special characteristic...

These beings are called many names by different people.

Some call them soulmates or guardians, while others call them freaks or demons

When the gods placed them on Earth, they were treated like gods, like saviors from the heavens who there to end their suffering.

However, as time went on, people's perspectives changed.

They grew greedy and began capturing these beings due to not only their beauty but their power as well.

The gods grew angry at the treatment their sons or daughters received from humans and unleashed their wrath upon the land, in what humans call WAR.

During the war, the gods retrieved their beings and swore that the human would pay for what they had done to their sons or daughters.

From then on, the gods put a charm or a curse on their special beings.

Due to the human's cruel treatment of our beings, their life will now be shortened.

By your 18th birthday, whether you have met your other half or not, your life will peacefully meet its end.

The gods stayed true to their word, 18 years after their birth they met their end.

Some had fortunately met their soulmates and died by them, each promising to meet each other in their other life.

Others weren't so lucky and ended up passing away alone and without their true love.

Though rare, there were humans who had learned about their heartbreaking tale.

Some sought them out for power while others sympathized with their tale and some even befriended them until their last moments where they parted away from them.
