Chapter12

Sorry guys for the late upload, forgive me. I still love you all even though you probably hate me by now. Anyway here is an upload and i will be uploading the other one as soon as possible. ENJOY.

Before i knew it Jordan was wrapping his hands around my waist and i was tangling my fingers in his hair. Sparks were exploding in my body and i was beginning to tremble in Jordan's arms. He held me tighter as if sensing that i was about to melt down. Our lips moved perfectly together and my body fit perfectly into his. The kiss was magical so magical and it felt like there were fireworks going off.

Just as things felt so perfectly into place, Jordan was pulled off me. My eyes were still closed and lips longing for his. I put a finger to my lips feeling where his lips were and then my eyes quickly opened. Jordan was now standing away from me with Daniel. They looked like they were having a heated argument. Without thinking i marched over to where they were.

"What just happened?" I asked Jordan furiously.

Jordan ignored me and carried on talking to Daniel.

"Daniel you need to calm down man, nothing is going to happen to us or her." Jordan was saying to a furious Daniel.

"Calm down!? Calm down!? Jordan you are not only putting yourself in danger but the rest of us, and when they find you, you know they will hurt her too." Daniel replied.

I stood there looking as confused as ever. What were they talking about? Who was going to find Jordan? And who is the "her" that they kept on mentioning. The curiosity was biting me. I wanted to know what they were talking about so badly. I wanted to know why Daniel looked so angry.  Daniel was acting so strange, I didn’t understand why he looked so angry. Who were they even talking about? Who was in danger? I didn’t understand why they weren’t involving me in their conversation. I hated being ignored, especially being ignored by my own mate!

I couldn’t help it anymore. I walked up to where Jordan and Daniel had walked to and tapped Jordan on the back. Surprisingly he turned around but he the look on his face was not pleasing.

“WHAT?” He asked me harshly. Jordan’s outburst took me by surprise and for some reason I just stared at him open mouthed, words not coming out of my mouth. I had never seen him look quite angry. I didn’t even understand what I had done wrong. Without another word Jordan walked away from me with Daniel following behind. I watched their bodies walk inside and then they disappeared through the crowd of people in my house.  My face flashed bright red. How could I give myself to him so easily? Had I forgotten that I didn’t really believe in love and I hated love? I tried convincing myself that I was just using him but my brain was not going with the plan. Maybe I was just a bit drunk and I wasn’t thinking properly. Yeah that’s probably it. I figured that I’d just forget about the whole thing and just go and enjoy my party.

Jordan’s P.O.V

What is wrong with me? I don’t even like the girl but I feel this urging feeling towards her. It’s probably because she’s my soul mate. Probably. Besides I didn’t want to get her involved in my past and what was going to probably happen in the future. I couldn’t tell her though and I didn’t want to get too close to her. I was quite glad that Daniel had stopped me quickly before I too carried away.

I had left Nicole’s party and was now walking in the streets trying to get fresh air. Daniel had insisted that he come with me but I declined. I just wanted some time alone, some time to think. Things were just going too fast and I was forgetting why I was here. I was forgetting why I left my previous life and was trying to start a new life. But I finally realised that my past would catch up with me soon. I couldn’t run away from it. All I could do right now but delay it but I knew that sooner or later I would be finding myself face to face with what made me live my past behind.

I must have walked for hours because as I finally lifted my head up, I had no idea where I was. It looked like I was in a town centre but it was dark and the only place that looked alive was a nearby bar where there was a faint sound of music coming from it. The word on the bar read “Recruit Bar” but the lights there were flickering. This place looked really peculiar. I walked towards the bar and pulled the door open but standing in front of me was a pale man who wore a really big coat and a hat and I could barely see his face. He was trying to get out of the bar and I was trying to enter. He didn’t even look up at me and he looked a bit suspicious. I stepped to one side so that he could pass through but he stepped to the same side as me. I stepped on the other side and he did the same. Finally he lifted his face up slowly. He had big brown eyes, wrinkles, a mole on his top lip and a gap in his tooth. Something about this man was giving me chills. For some reason he couldn’t remove his eyes away from mine and this was starting to freak me out.

He slowly pointed a shaking finger at me and whispered “Youuu…..you”
