The whole week we were at Hawaii for some reason I didn’t feel well. Hailey’s brother Roman started to hit on me and I blew up on him. If you’d ask me later I would have said it was because he was gross but that’s not the real reason. Roman was the hottest thing I have ever seen before I started school this year. So either I’m a newly turned gay, which to be honest if anyone could turn me it would be Hailey(she’s hot) or I’m stuck on the 3 already. Either way it’s not good. On Monday when we returned something was still wrong.
“Don’t make me goooooo!” I groaned into the pillow beside my head. “I feel like shit hales just let me sleep!” Waking up Monday morning it didn’t take me long to realized that I still didn’t feel too good. Hailey dragged my blanket off of me quickly before I even had a chance to grab it.
“Look we HAVE to go to school today! Today is when we start campaign for prom in a month. You have to run to beat Katie! Sleeping in today is not an option either you get up or I drag you up. The difference is one way you’ll be going in your pj’s the other you’ll going into school rocking an outfit.
“Fine fine” I grumble, I have a feeling if I don’t comply she will go through with that. I swing my legs off the bed and start my morning routine.
“Alexis have you seen my Hawaii gift bag? I swear I packed it in one of our suitcases.” Hailey called out from downstairs.
“Yeah it’s in my suitcase.” I call back. Next thing I know I hear her running up the steps. She goes through my suitcase and gets the bag. She hands me what looks like a gold necklace. When I look closer I realize it’s an hour glasswith the worlds Elysium on it. I looked up at her shocked.
“Where did you get this?” She grabs it out of my hand and puts it on my neck.
“I saw it and I though the words were what were on that book but I couldn’t remember. It must be like a brand or something because Elysium is on the book and the necklace. Regardless I saw it and thought you would love it.” She steps back and looks at it.
“We have a hair appointment before school so we better get going. My brother’s pool turned my hair green. Besides you’ve wanted to put colored highlight into your hairfor a while now. She grabs her purse and swings her backpack onto her shoulder. I do the same however when I step outside my neck tingles and I feel someone watching me.
