My ficken car was totaled last night!
Totaled!
Already my day was starting horrible by finding my boyfriend left me!
Knowing very well I didn't have a car because he came to pick me up. Then even stayed the night so he could take me in the morning to work! Even worst didn't think to wake me to let me know he was leaving earlier than usual for said work!
Now I was already running late. My alarm having gone off at its usual time to irritation. Scrambling around my apartment to get ready. Taking a quick shower. Blow drying my ginger hair only to pull it up into a tight bun. Letting my bangs do there thing by naturally framing my face and across my forehead hiding a burn mark under them.
Rushing now my make up to be simple mascara and light red lips stick, I raced to my closet. Throwing on a nice blouse that had a high neck for a bow design. Covering the new scar from my last surgery to get my voice back. Another one that was only to reconstructed and cut out bad tissue. Them promising the next one I could speak again.
Hopefully.
Zipping up my light brown pencil skirt and sliding my arms threw its matching jacket. Grasping my Hermes brown leather briefcase and purse I raced to the door. Sliding on my cream and black toe heels, I was out the door. Locking it behind me speed walking to the elevator.
The doors gratefully opening upon pressing the down button of the luxury apartment building. One that Howl trusted in security that was quite tight. Everyone having a key card to enter the building or go threw the front desk security that was ran twenty-four hours every day. Only having a small list of people able to come up to my apartment. Everyone of them having a full life scan before they could be put on it. Having many celebrities and political people live in this building as well.
"Miss. Sulivan, a package just arrived for you." One of the guards hailing me over to the desk. Signing for the parcel of papers by the envelope. Ripping it open right away to see papers for the Georgeo Corp. project already approving my design for there upgrades in there office. Pushing them into the crook of my arm so I could read them right away on my way to the office. Signing a quick Thank You, to him.
"Your welcome Miss. Sulivan." Waving goodbye as I walked out of the building. The glass door being opened by a footman thankful to see he had already hailed a taxi for me. Having most likely seen me from the glass windows, making it easy to see a tenant walking out. Opening the door of the cab for me once again. Giving him a hug as thank you. Having known him now for the past two years I've lived here. Loving my cookies that he always brought to his wife when he was off.
Shutting the door once I was in. Handing the drive my business card to get the address I needed to go to. Nodding his head in understanding of where to go. Turning on to the busy streets, knowing with this traffic I was to be further late then I already was going to be. Driving my own car was faster than a taxi. All of them taking directions that would take longer to get to your destination and drive up the fair. But then again it gave me time to go over the documents. Seeing in them if they had made any changes or notes about the furniture. Only seeing a few things that could be easily done before the shipment was due to go out.
