Chapter 23- Say yes!

Yoona's P.O.V

Upon arrival at the amusement park, we went to buy our tickets. After sorting out administration, we headed straight to the first ride- roller coaster!
It's been such a long time since we had the chance to enjoy a day off. Lina and Ashley were heading to the line that leads to the roller coaster.
I heard a voice behind me and looked back. Oh no... Yoona! Say something to him!
"Jackson!" I squeaked GAHHH what am I doing! I felt my face redden and looked down at my feet. My eyes widened a little when I noticed his hands around me. I hesitated a while before gently putting my hands around him. I closed my eyes and promised not to cry on a good day. The hug seemed to go on for a long time, but I seemed to enjoy every second of it.
"Yah! You two! Get a room, geez" I heard Roy say, gently pushing me into Jackson.
I blushed and backed off "S...sorry"

"Heh, it's ok. Your face is red..." Jackson mumbled while smiling I looked at him and smiled before pulling him to line up.

He was shocked when he felt my hands pulling his arm, but soon joined me and the others.

"So Yenni! You wanna sit next to me on the rollercoaster? Hehe don't worry I'll protect you" Karry said while winking at me. From the look on his face, I knew he was teasing Jackson. I looked at Jackson and said:
"Nah, I'm all good. Plus, Jackson will protect me. Right?" I said, holding onto Jackson's arms.
He blushed beetroot red and rubbed his neck while stuttering..."y..yeah, of course, I'll protect you."
"HHAHAHAH"- everyone burst out laughing
"Shush! People will hear us!" Jackson said, covering Roy and Karry's mouth.

"Fine we'll stop teasing you... but you should calm down before we get on the ride. I bet you the people won't let you on with that red face, hehe" Ashley giggled.

It was finally our turn, and as I was stepping into the seat, I gulped. Gosh, why did I agree to go on this ride? I was already scared and the ride hasn't even started yet. Jackson noticed I was nervous because of the way my knuckles turned white from gripping into the rails. He gently put his hands on top of mine and that made me turn my head towards him.

"Hey, it'll be fine. I'll protect you." He said, smirking

"I...umm... ok..." I sighed and my grip on the rail loosened up a bit. He picked up my right hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. I stared at him but he just kept his face forward.
Damnnnn his side profile is so hot... look at that jawline 😍😍😍.
As I was daydreaming, the ride suddenly started and it jolted me forward, nearly hitting my head on the rail. I heard Karry hold in his laughter from behind him so I turned around and death stared him.
He laughed at me and poked his tongue out.
Gosh, he is still so childish.
Oh my gosh oh my gosh! THIS RIDE IS SO TALLLL
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAA" i screamed as we were going down from the top of the ride. Karry and Roy were laughing their heads off and screaming when they weren't. I looked in front of me and saw Lina enjoying herself so much but Ashley was as calm as ever like this was just a car ride. I looked at Jackson but he was the same as Ashley.
They are so similar.... is that why Ashley liked Jackson? My mind wasn't focusing on the ride and I seemed to zone out for the rest of the ride.

Jackson's P.O.V
OMG, I am trying my hardest not to scream! That would make me look so weak in front of Yoona. Speaking of Yoona what happened to her? She suddenly went quiet. Is she ok? It took all my confidence to open my eyes and look at her. Oh... she's closed her eyes. Is she scared? Should I hug her? Or is that too dangerous to do. I noticed she let go of my hands and I frowned, hoping I wasn't squeezing her hands too tight.
After the ride, we went over to an ice-cream stall to sit for a while and recover from the intense ride.
I remembered Yoona went quite during the ride so I went and sat closer to her.
