Chapter 18 (Part 1)

Irene's pov

I'm so busy right now because this is the last episode for this season. We are busy set up for the special episode but suddenly we interrupt by Mr. Yoo's voice. "Let's have a meeting now! Urgent!", he said. We stop from everything we do and go to the meeting room. We sit and waiting for Mr. Yoo. "Okay, I have a good news.", he clap his hand once make us startled. We nervously wait for Mr. Yoo to annouce the news. "Exo will be having another season for their own variety show. The new season will be Exo Shot!", all of the crew celebrate it with applause and screaming the word 'yes' and 'yahoo' but not for me and Wendy. We just shut our mouth because that's mean we are not be able to join them since we are already done with our practical session. "Unfortunately, we will be missing two of our producer, Wendy PDnim and Hyosub PDnim. Do you want to say anything?", Wendy and I stand up and everyone attention on us. Wendy start to cry so I will start first. "Okay... Firstly, thank you for everything. Without all of you, my session will be meaningless. And I would like to apologize for any wrong doing and I hope you guys can do the best for next season. Thank you, so much!", I bow a few times to them and they give their applause to me. I pat Wendy's back who is already crying. "Guys! Thank you for everything! Yoo PDnim, you are the greatest producer I ever knew. I would like to stay but I can't. Thank you again and sorry if I was burden to you all.", she crying harder then we both give our last bow. "I also want to thank both of you for your commitment. So, let's celebrate it tonight and my treat.", all of us cheering out of happiness. "Don't be so happy! Let's do our best for our last episode! Dismissed!", we dismissed to continue our work. Then, my phone vibrated. I slip my phone out from my pocket and unlock it.

Jagi, let's meet tonight to celebrate! I really miss and want to see you so bad! I miss your soft hand.

To Hyun💕:

I have a celebration with the crew. Sorry jagi...

He doesn't reply my messages. Maybe he upset and sulking now... OMG! How I want to persuade him now? I start my last work and I see he doesn't want to look at me. Is he the only one who know how to sulk?! I can sulk too.

8pm

We are already in the restaurant to eat dinner. Goodbye Mr. Yoo's precious card! We are going to eat a lot. We already there to wait for Mr. Yoo. Suddenly I heard someone greet and of course I thought Mr. Yoo coming but unfortunately he bring Exo with him. "Lay also here!", I heard the make up artist whispering to her friend. My jaw hanging because Baek never told me he want to come here. "Okay, guys! Exo will be joining us tonight and they would like to treat us.", he pointing Exo to sit with us at the empty seat. Actually, I suppose to seat beside Mr. Yoo but he sit beside me while Lay is in front of me. He take my right hand and hold it under the table. I know he miss my hand and my cheek start to blush hardly. "Why both of your face redden? Are you two sick?", my other Pdnim ask. I thought it's Baek but actually it's Wendy who is sitting in front of Chanyeol. "Aniyo!", we both say it together. Chanyeol and Baekhyun chuckle looking at us. "So, we are here to bid farewell for our 2 PDnim who will end their practical session. Goodluck for your future and I hope you two not forget us. Cheers!", he hold a glass of beer and we all crash our glass with each other. We drink the beer and begin to eat.

After an hour, Ahn Pdnim say "Let's play Cleopatra!", all of them agree with the idea. After a while, it's Baekhyun turn. He can do the high note easily. Ah! I forgot that he is one of the main vocalist of Exo! Then my turn come and I failed! The punishment is I have to drink a glass of beer one shot! The others start to cheer for me. I sigh and take a deep breath before holding my glass. When I about to lift the glass up, a hand stop my hand from lift it up. "Today is your last day. So, can I replace you?", he ask me. There are some fan girl start to fangirling. They say he is so cool. I look at him and slowly nod my head. He take the glass and start to drink it one shot while the others start to cheer for him. He did it and we give him a big applause. He slowly say enough for both of us to hear it, "Indirect kiss". My cheek redden when I hear it. I give him a death glare and he just chuckle. He intertwined his hand with me under the table, a tactic to persuade me and unfortunately it work.
