Intro: Nothing lasts forever

"If you want to leave then fucking leave."

It's yet another argument. Namjoon suddenly getting offended by the slightest slip up from his current boyfriend and exploding once again.
His boyfriend,a younger omega,trying to calm him down but eventually getting furious at the clear distrust from the fiery older omega.

They were just University students. Fell in love just at the beginning of Namjoon's final year. Namjoon had already gone through his fair share of relationships through his university years. And once again it was another series of sweet passionate moments that slowly but turned into sour meaningless arguments.

It was a sick cycle that would end with the boyfriend apologizing and doing all he can to make Namjoon see he loves him.

But not this time. This was the final straw.

"Fine."
The boyfriend said his normally deep baritone voice barely above a whisper. Broken and absolutely defeated. His fists were clenched at his side and tears streaming down his freckled cheeks as he couldn't be bothered to act strong and take Namjoon's paranoid accusations anymore.

"Fucking fine,Namjoon!"
The younger now yelled louder,clearer and Namjoon didn't even look all too surprised at his decision. Almost like the older had been expecting for him to eventually leave him. It just had a whole other level of hurt crash over the younger man. Like the man he loved so much expected him to leave.

The younger omega just rushed past Namjoon to their room,packed up as much of his clothes he could fit quite messily into a traveling bag and came back out. He wiped his tear and snot stained face on his sleeve uncaring for having common decency at that moment.
He walked past the older who had stayed standing in the very spot he left him and marched with all the willpower he could muster over to the door. He hesitated,looked back to meet Namjoon's eyes but the second their eyes met the older omega turned his face away. A silent yet very clear rejection. Cementing the end of whatever messed up thing they had and the finality just brought another painful feeling in the younger's chest. The male's hand was at the handle,opening it slowly and still daring to torture himself looking back and hoping Namjoon would stop him. But it never happened and the door was opened,by his very hand. Then all he had to do was take a step and this would all be over.

"You know what,hyung?"
The boy spoke up,but not turning back to look to Namjoon with foolish hopefulness. He was weak for the male and wasn't planning on breaking his resolve. Never again.

"I hope you find what you're looking for."

And then the door is slammed shut. The resounding echo the only companion to the now regretful omega. Silent tears streamed down his cheeks but he tried to remain strong. Remind himself that this was bound to happen. They all leave. One way or the other he's left alone because in the end of the day,nothing truly lasts forever.
