Nature is trying to kill me

I got up this morning, and, like normal, got dressed in my black skinny jeans, nerdy T-shirt, flannel, and hoodie. I ate my Cheerios and got ready for school like normal, brushing my teeth, washing my face, putting on ("waterproof") eyeliner, packing my lunch.

Now, I'm ready to leave for school.

I have to bike to school, because I have no other way of getting there except walking and I sure as hell am not doing that, it would take 3-5 times as long.

Anyways, it was raining a bit, so I put on my raincoat and sneakers, got on my bike, and went to school. Of course, about a minute into my ride, it starts raining super hard, and by the time I got to school I was soaked. Luckily, I though to put on my hood under my bike helmet, so I wasn't as wet as I could have been. My legs, though, are soaked, and my feet are pretty wet too, along with my hands and sweater cuffs (which is pretty uncomfortable).

I go to my Spanish class, and dry out some there.

Right before lunch, I have gym. Joy. At the moment we are supposed to be doing a unit outside, where it is still pouring. We do not go outside, fortunately, but instead go to my school's fitness centre, where our teacher makes us do this gross crossfit workout. Afterwards, I am grossly sweaty, and - oh joy! Someone's put their snow-covered sneakers on my jeans, they're now wet again! Thanks, random human! I struggle into my jeans and go to lunch, specifically, to the weekly meeting of my school's GSA, which improves my mood a bit.

My spirits are also lifted by the fact that school ends an hour early this afternoon so that the teachers can have a meeting.

I have my improv class after lunch, in the drama room, where all the windows are inside the little room where the costumes are kept behind our small rehearsal stage. Therefore, I do not see the snow until it's been snowing for about half an hour, far too late to do anything about the fact that my bike is sitting locked up outside slowly being covered in snow. (Had I seen when the snow first started, I would have asked to go to the washroom and promptly gone outside to cover my bike with my gigantic raincoat.)

After my last period, I get all my stuff ready and embark on my bike ride home.

The wind is blowing in great gusts, and no matter what way I turn my bike down the various streets on my route home, it continues to blow directly into my face. By the time I get home, my face and legs are soaked like this morning, my feet are soaked from walking through now in my sneakers, and the snow has also managed to blow up my sleeves, into my hood, and down my shirt. My hands and thighs are so cold that they hurt.

Al in all, my day was pretty shit.

Oh yeah, and that "waterproof" eyeliner? I was pretty raccoon by the time I got home.

And to make it all worse, it's only October third. NATURE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!?!?
