Jungkook's POV:

"Hey Kookie... wake up..." I heard a familiar voice say. "You don't want to be late for your first day..." by this time I was beginning to regain consciousness.

"Hmm...?" I huffed back lazily, barely lifting my head from the pillow. Rolling over onto my stomach, my eyes travelled to the digital alarm clock beside me. As I squinted my eyes in an attempt to distinguish the time, I was relieved to know it was only 7:47am. "Ngh... five more minutes...?" I begged through slurred speech.

"No silly," I heard my Mom chuckle. "Breakfast will be ready soon, so get changed and get your things ready!!" Although I didn't see her face, I could tell that she was smiling. So, I dragged myself out of bed and into some clothes I thought would be appropriate for school. In all honesty, it was simply my normal attire. A white t-shirt, ripped jeans, and my good-old, trustworthy timberlands.

I took a shower, brushed my teeth, combed my hazelnut locks, and grabbed my gym kit just in case. By this time it was about 8:10, giving me 20 minutes before the bus arrived. Eyeing the delicious food spread out over the table, I took my seat at the plate with 2 fluffy pancakes, and devoured them before grabbing my backpack and walking to the bus stop.

As I awaited the bus, it gave me time to realize how the subtle, cool wind contrasted so well with the sunny; not humid , weather as I felt the gentle breeze caress my hair. Such a feeling was so satisfactory, and refreshing, that I almost didn't realize the bus had stopped directly in front of me. I payed, and thanked the driver before sitting down on the first seat I saw. It was towards the back of a bus, where a slightly smaller boy was sitting.

"Is this seat taken?" I questioned the boy, who was looking out the window. He turned to me, and that's when I recognized him.

Third Person POV:

"J-JIMIN?!" he practically cried out in disbelief, swiftly looking up, the boy's eyes widened.

"JUNGKOOKIE?! W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! I THOUGHT- I MEAN... YOU WERE-...!" Although both males were as happy as they were shocked to meet each other like this, they still had so many questions, and not enough answers.

"Well, my mom decided that I need to complete my finals through an actual school, so even though after being homeschooled and going through every thing with me, I have to repeat the grade." Jungkook explained, trying to break it down simply for the lil Mochi.

"B-But why did you leave in 3rd grade? I know I was only a 2nd grader at the time, but I still remember the good times we had." The younger explained, the same innocent smile imprinted on his face.

"W-well, you see, Jiminie... you remember... Yoongi, don't you? H-he found out that I was... ahEm..." Jungkook began, hoping the younger would understand what he meant by 'ahEm' unfortunately, seen as Jimin merely furrowed his brows in confusion, Jungkook had to whisper the end to him,

"...he found out I was gay..."

"Oh... so that's why you always had bumps and bruises... he beat you up... didn't he...?"

All that Jungkook could muster was a simple nod, accompanied by a blank facial expression.

"But you do know he's changed, right? Sure he's still a bit of a bad boy... but he came outta the closet last year..." The younger stated 'matter-of-factly'. "He still goes to this school though, he has to repeat last year because of his bad grades... looks like you're stuck with him again." Jimin almost whispered, looking down at his feet blankly.

"S-Seriously?!" Jungkook choked out, unsure whether to be relieved or scared of Yoongi. "Do you think he remembers me? Will he still bully me? For god's sake Jimin what am I gonna do...?" Jungkook heaved, placing his head in his hands as he rubbed his eyes slightly.

"I don't think he'll bully you, he was actually quite nice to me last year when I was a grade below him, but now we're all in the same year, it won't be so bad! Plus, if he ever tries to hurt you, just tell me, maybe he'd listen to me." the reassurance in the younger's voice made Jungkook feel at least a little but more at ease.

"Thanks Jimin." Jungkook spoke with sincerity. "I guess I can still count on you, huh?"

"You bet!!" He exclaimed, making a silly face making both boys laugh. Jungkook's nerves had subdued thanks to the fact they joked around for the rest of the bus ride to school.

My first day... Jungkook thought, walking towards the school gates, admiring the vast greenery and spectacular architectural design of the building.

I wonder what the teachers are like...

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

A/N: So, just to make it clear, Jungkook and Yoongi are the same age, 18.

Jungkook is having to go through his last year of high school a year late due to him being homeschooled since 3rd grade.

Yoongi is having to repeat the year because he spent most of his time in class slacking off so failed his finals.

Jimin and Hoseok are 17 and also in their final year of high school.

And I'll introduce the roles of the other members later on ;)

Don't forget to smile you guys,

SARANGHAE!!! <33333
