Scarlett sat at her vanity doing her makeup getting ready for the dance in a few hours. Her phone dings.

"Hey gorgeous" F
Her face lit up she loved when he randomly would text her.
"Hey mister" S
"What are you up to?" F
"Doing my make up for the dance. What about you baby?" S
"Getting ready for dinner with jug and the coopers." F
"The coopers? As in Alice Cooper?" S
Fp didn't respond as fast as he normally did which lead to Scarlett calling him.
"Hey." Fp answers after a few rings
"Why didn't you mention this dinner to me?"
"It slipped my mind. We're only doing dinner because it'll make Jug and Betty happy."
"You sure about that."
"Babe. I'm positive."
Babe slipped out of his mouth so sweetly it made her melt. He never called her that before, but she loved it.
"Fine. You still want me to come over after right?"
"Yes, unless Alice and I decide to get it on while all of you are at the dance then I'll let you know." Fp chuckles
"Not funny." Scarlett speaks seriously
"Of course not. I'm sorry. I'll see you tonight." He spoke soft and sweet.
"See you tonight jones." The two hung up and Scarlett finishes doing her hair and make up.
She takes her towel off and takes a nude picture of her body then puts the dress on along with the heels and a gold necklace. She takes another photo and sends the one of her in the dress to Fp. He responds almost instantly.

"Wow!" F
"You like the dress?" S
"You look stunning. Can't wait to take it off you though." F
She sends the picture of her nude giggling
"All yours handsome." S
"Fuck. You're a tease." F
"But you love it." S
"That I do. Just wait till I get my hands on you." F
"Oh?.. what are you gonna do?" S
"I'm gonna start by taking that dress off.. and move to your bra.. and then down to your panties, but those I'll take off with my teeth." F
"Really? What else?" S
"I can't do this Jug is sitting next to me and Alice is about to come out with the food. We'll finish this later." F
"Way to leave a girl hangin." S
Fp doesn't respond. Scarlett pouts and starts to get jealous.
Someone knocks at her front door and she goes downstairs to answer it.
"Archie? What are you doing here?"
"Thought you'd need an escort to the dance." He smiles "as friends."
Scarlett smiles back and the two leave getting into the truck he borrowed from his father.
The two pull up behind Fp's truck not realizing it. They get out and Archie gives his arm to Scarlett and she takes it walking up the stairs. Fp sees the two and confusion runs across his face. Archie excuses himself to go over to Veronica. Scarlett notices Jughead.
"Beanie boy, you're looking spiffy. Where's your arm candy?"
"Thanks scar you look lovely your self and she's over there with her mom."
Scarlett eyes Alice she hates her only cause she knew her and Fp have slept together at some point in time even if Fp didn't directly say it she just knew. But at the same time Scarlett envied her she thought that Mrs. Cooper was drop dead gorgeous and was of jealous over it.
A little time passed, Archie and V made their way up to the stage and performed a song.
Once they made their way off stage I watched as Betty, Archie, and Veronica made their way to the hall. I followed curious.
"Guys what's going on?"
"Where you in on this?" Betty turned to me
"In on what?" Scarlett stopped in her tracks and Jughead came out
"Hey guys...what's going on? Why do I feel like I'm out of the loop?"
"You wanna tell him?" Betty looks to Archie and Veronica
"Tell me what?" Jug questions
"We went to your dad's trailer to To search it, Jughead." Archie says
"Why would you guys do that?" Jug walked closer
"My mom put them up to it. She was convinced he was hiding something about Jason." Betty replies
"We were wrong." Archie says
"All of us." Veronica adds
"We didn't find anything." Archie moves closer to his friend "And Jug, we were only doing it to prove that"
"That my dad wasn't a murderer? You went behind my back, Archie?" Jughead interrupts him
"Jug" Betty reaches for him
"How did you...When did you guys know to go to my dad's trailer?" The boy backs up and crosses his arms
"We knew he'd be at dinner with" Veronica starts to speak and Betty interrupts her from finishing the sentence.
"No"
"That's why your mom invited my dad and I to dinner? So these two could break into my his trailer while she interrogated him?" Jughead angrily says to Betty
"No, I didn't know what they were doing. But yes, that is why she invited you guys." Betty softly grabs onto Jughead only for him to shake her off.
"To think I was gonna pass on moving to Toledo with my family for you."
"What?" Scarlett steps forward, but Jughead just stares at Betty
"When we went to my dad's trailer, you asked me if I believed him. I said I did. Wasn't that good enough for you?" The boy steps away from her
"It was. It was good enough. I didn't I tried to stop her." Betty begins to cry
"You could've told me, you could've warned me about this."
"You were so excited, Jug, I didn't want to disappoint you."
"So instead you lied? You all lied to me?"
"There they are." Kevin comes around the corner with a few parents following.
"Betty.Thank God." Mrs. Cooper says
"Mom, don't." Betty snaps
"No, you have to listen. All of you." Hermione says the them all
"My dad just told Mayor McCoy about your dad, Jughead." Kevin says
"What about my dad?" Jughead questions walking towards him
"He was just arrested." Fred answers Jug "For the murder of Jason Blossom."
Scarlett's heart fell into her stomach.
