Chapter 6

2 days. I've known this boy for two days and he already owns my heart. I don't have a problem with it either.

"You look really tired."

Shawn and I have been sitting in the backseat of his Mom's SUV on the drive home when he asked this question.

"A little bit, yeah." I shyly answer as I nonchalantly lean my head against the window. He grabs my arm to pull me close to him. I sit with my head in the crook of his neck and he rests his head on mine.

"I know we just met." He pauses. "But I feel like we've known each other for a very long time."

I nod a tiny bit.

"Speaking of knowing people for a long time, who have you known for a long time?"

He doesn't question my awkward question as he proceeds.

"Well my neighbor, Caleb, used to be my best friend until about 10 months ago when my career started to take off. I grew up with him."

His jaw tenses a bit so I grip his hand to ease his temper.

"You don't have to talk about it. I've only been here two days. I think I've got time to figure you out, Mendes."

He simply smiles and releases me as we enter his driveway. Shawn insisted on walking me home even though I live literally 5 seconds away. I don't complain though.

"It's been a pleasure hanging out with you, Teagan Faela."

"And you as well, Mendes."

I swiftly kiss him on the cheek and walk into my house with the goofiest smile on my face.

The rest of my night would consist of twitter scrolling, tweeting, and anything involving the social media.

"Pop sensation, Shawn Mendes, has been spotted with a mystery girl at a local amusement park. Word has it Shawn doesn't even know her?? What?! Shawn, if we know you like we do, you would've talked about this mystery date. Is this a one nighter or a new ship?"

The article wasn't my problem. The picture attached was my problem. Shawn holding my hand, pulling me close and sharing that passionate kiss that had only happened hours ago, was now being seen by the entire world. Flipping fantastic!

A text from Shawn comes in moments after. I expected something sweet and supportive but all I got was "we need to talk.

So here's another short chapter! Sorry I am literally incapable of writing long chapters! Anywhoooooooooo I hope you guys like the relationship of Shawn and Teagan. They're so cuuuuuuttttteee. Not to mention they're buffalo relationship.
