It was the middle of the night and I had just gotten woke up by a loud thump coming from the room next to mine. I stood up and slipped on a T-shirt before walking over to pidges room. She was sitting at her desk with her head down, passed out. I walked over and carefully lifted her out if the chair as the remote fell from her hand and into the ground. After carrying her over to the bed I leaned down and whispered into her ear.
"Goodnight, Katie Holt, sleep well."
She must have been dreaming because, even though she was fast asleep, she replied with an "I love you shiro"
I blushed, which made me feel like a creep sense she was so much younger than I was but, like it or not, I was in love with this girl.
"I love you too pidge."
As soon as the words escaped my lips her eyes shot open "you what?!"
Her face was turning bright red as I looked down at her, red as well.
"I thought you were asleep."
"Did you really just say you loved me too?"
"Yes. No! Maybe, but whatever, why does it even matter? You were obviously dreaming when you said you loved me too"
"I've been awake sense you picked me up. I meant every word"
