Your POV
Savitar had tried to speed us all the way to Paris, but he wasn't able to, his suit was his recharge station and he couldn't exactly wear that into Paris. We got to Portugal before he collapsed, and I was freaked out beyond believe. We called Katelin and Julian, just to find out that he wasn't going to be able to speed around if we didn't find a way to cure him. This was like zoom all over again to me.
At the moment, me and bar (Savitars new nickname) had to stay at a cramped hotel and try to help him rest. His fight with the flash had drained him, even if it had been a little while ago. I cuddled into him slightly and looked up at his now pale face. People starred at his face no matter where he went, but that never bothered me. I just hated How sick he looked right now.
"Katelin, he hasn't gotten better, and it's been days. Haven't you found a cure yet? How does Barry's body keep him from this?" I asked he as I'd stepped out of the room so he wouldn't hear.
"Barry's body seems to create speed force as he runs, and all over speedsters run on that. So we are thinking that bars body is trying to do both, and that it's sped up his speed deterioration. No pun intended" she replied back to us, making me worry more and more
"What if we extract some of the dark matter from Barry and put them in bar, wouldn't that even him out and fix his speed issue?" I asked as I thought it over and realized I was probably on the right track at the moment. Katelin typed on her computer and I heard it through the phone
"It might... Yeah. That could work. We'd just have to adjust the dosage so that he wouldn't rely of Barry's speed force and he could make his own, which would stop him from being able to lose his speed like that." Katelin replied.
"Then let's do it!" I said hopefully, to which she sighed
"How do we get it from Barry and into Bare?" She asked, "we'd need them both in the lab. Which means-" she paused as I heard mumbling from the other side of the phone. "Barry and Wally are gonna run and grab you two, then we can work here on the cure.
"Thanks Katelin, this means a lot to me, I know it isn't easy for anyone on the team to help him but....." I paused and glanced down at my feet. "It means the world"
"You're welcome, Now get ready" Katelin said and hung up. I walked back into the room and looked at bare, and tried to quickly explain what was going down. Bare hated the idea of getting help from them, but I told him it would be for the best and he could use it as time to apologize and make amends with the team.
"I don't wanna be near them" he said in annoyance, but was giving in.
"Too late" Barry flashed into the room, pulling his mask off to talk. "We're here" He said as Wally came in too. He nodded to me but gave me a wary look.
"Hey guys" I greeted and walked over to bare and he reluctantly let me help him stand.
"Katelin explained what happened, I'm sorry you two didn't get to go to Paris" Barry said, before going and putting bares are around his shoulder. "You two need some time to chill."
"Especially after trying to kill my sister" Wally said in a sarcastic tone. I glared at him a little and he glared back
"They didn't Wally, they had a change of heart" Barry reminded, "besides, (y/n) was just following her boyfriend and he was just trying to make sure he lived."
"Whatever" Wally said as he grabbed me and we flashed back to the lab. I sighed and ran a hand threw my hair. Soon, Barry flashed in and he put bare down in the hospital bed. Katelin started hooking him up to machines. I glanced around the room and spotted iris. Barry walked up to her and kissed her forehead, and she gave me a look. I looked away from her and started to go to bare. He looked even paler and I held his hand softly. Katelin gave me a smile, at least she didn't blame or hate me.
"I hate this plan" Julian said as he typed away on a keyboard in the room.
"He needs time to adjust" Katelin responded, and I gave her a smile.
"I just want him to heal" I said and looked down at bare with loving eyes. He gave me a weak smile, before slipping out of consciousness. I gave a sigh and stood up, before walking out of the room. Iris was waiting for me out in the hall, so when I got out there she gently grabbed my arm.
"We should talk" she said as she pulled me aside. "I know about what happened when you went undercover, and I also know that Barry lost all feelings for you." She said
"Yes" I said and nodded along solemnly.
"And you're boyfriend planned to kill me"she said and gave out a sigh. "Let's just... put it behind us. We can both be happy with our Barry's. Barry told me he feels like bare is some kind of long lost twin brother. So maybe we can all be a family." She said with a hopeful look, and I nodded back to her. I couldn't help but hope for it as well.
