02: Sister

After the police had arrived the house was thoroughly investigated , and I was being asked questions by one of the police

"Miss y/n would you know of anyone who want to kill your parents maybe get revenge on you and your family?" The police man asked

"Honestly no, I know my family had a lot of debts but no one would kill them over that and I don't have any enemies either " I say trying to think as hard as I can

" okay miss but do you have any other family member you can stay with for the time being , coz this house is now a crime investigation " he says

There was a long pause ... We didn't have any family members here in Pyongyang but ..."wait a minute my step sister !! Jennie!! " I exclaim excitedly I haven't seen her in a while

We used to be so close even though we weren't blood but after she turned 18 she moved away and never called or visited again ...did she perhaps have a fight with my parents? And I wonder where she is right now , then suddenly I remember her last words before she left 5 years ago

-flashback-

"Unnie please don't leave , I'm gonna miss you so so much" I said holding her and crying "shhh y/n don't cry like this , your unnie is big now she has to go and live her own life and start her own family and have  her own house , one day you will too" she said as she wiped my tears

"But unnie just promise me one thing..", I say "ofcourse my darling anything for you", she said " at least write letters to me or phone me please...and tell me where you so when I get older I will visit you" I say with my eyes glowing like a little child
"Ofcourse , I'll be in the city of Seoul you can visit me anytime you want but before I go..." She said as she removed her necklace and put it around my neck inside the locket it was a picture of the two of us together

"Promise me to never lose this y/n if you ever miss me I will be right there in your necklace and in your heart also I will never change my number so when you get your own phone give me a call",she said , walking away in the dark

-end of flashback-

How could I forget , I have never taken this necklace off from that day , I open the locket and take out the photo that was inside it , when I turned the photo around I see a couple of digit which looks like a phone number written on it , I quickly take out my phone and dial the number

It was a long wait until someone answered the phone "hello" the person replied and I immediately knew who it was  "unnie", I cried "yn" the voice said "you finally called me "

At that moment I told Jennie everything and she arranged for a flight for me to come to Seoul to stay with her so I pack my things and the next day I board my flight to Seoul
I guess sisters are the best gift one could ever ask for....
