The boy

      It was homecoming night and my friends along with my mother wouldn't stop talking about it, my friends tried to set me up with this guy for it but they wouldn't listen to  me when I said I didn't want to, my mom wasn't no help either just because she was homecoming queen when she was my age and my grade she wants me to win the homecoming and be the homecoming queen just like her and it's so annoying I just wish my friends would leave me alone about it. Also my mother, I went to my room and sat down on my bed I sighed and flopped down having Mr, whiskers climb on my face( he's my cat and probably the only guy that likes me ).

       I woke from a nap that I don't even remember having my friends were on my bed yelling at me to wake up, Ellen ( I find it really cool that one of best friend has the same name as me) she had a curling iron in her hand and Keva has this really beautiful dress it was short had diamonds on the top the color was blue Keva knew I would like it knowing I love the color blue I sighed and they looked upset," Guys I already told you I don't want to go plus that guy you tried to get me with rejected me" I said a bit annoyed " Ellen you need to have fun and forget what your mom says she's putting pressure on you we just want you to go and have fun " Keva said trying to convince me to go. I signed and took the dress " Fine I will go with you guys " They both squealed and we all got ready.

We finally get to the school and we enter the dance and everyone was dancing having a good time, Keva and Ellen left me to go with their dates and I was left alone I felt really uncomfortable and went outside. I knew a way up on the roof of my school and got up there and say sat on the edge on the school and watched al the couples go in and all the best friends, I looked up at the stars and just fell in love they were shinning off from dress. I was totally lost in the moment, Someone climb up the leader and it scare me I looked over and saw this tall man wearing a tuxedo his eyes were the prettiest green eyes I have seen, He rubbed his hand through his hair and started to walk closer to me when he finally reached me he told me his name and why he was up here " Hey there beautiful my name is Dylan and I saw you climbing up here " I smiled not knowing what to do.

Dylan stayed the whole time he seemed like he was enjoying this but my dad warned me of boys like this they can look like stars but turn out to be a storm
I kept smiling at whatever he says and he seemed to get a little annoyed and asked me for my name, I replied with " sorry it's Ellen " He has this smile that could melt Anyone's heart" That's a beautiful name Ellen, how old are you? I never see you in the hallways " I giggled at that a little and told him " I'm 17 and yeah no one really does I skip mostly every day " He looked at me with this look I didn't know how to describe, " what?" I said he snapped and looked up at me " I'm sorry I was just wondering why you would skip school" I looked at him and thought " Ahh your a preppy " I just told him I had things going on at home and we looked back at the stars.

The dance was over and Keva was calling my phone I answered and she was totally freaking out I told her I was still at school but on the roof, I didn't tell her about this boy that was next to me I hung up on her and told Dylan I had to go. He looked upset but I just shook my head and walked to the ladder," Hey!" He shouted at me and I looked back at him and he ran over to me " can I have your number ?" He asked I thought about it should I really give this stranger my phone number ? I just shrugged my shoulders and handed him my phone.He was pretty excited that he got my number I thought maybe this was a prank so I didn't think about it too much he handed me my phone back I took it then got done, Keva and Ellen was waiting for me in the car they looked upset but I just shrugged my shoulders and fell asleep in the car .

            It was the next morning I was happy that it was Saturday I heard my buzz and looked over to it, I got a message from Dylan"Hmm he actually texted me " I thought to myself as I chuckled a little bit.

Dylan: Hey it's Dylan
Ellen :  Hey Dylan it's Ellen
Dylan: Are you doing anything today ?
Ellen: Hmm no, why?
Dylan: I was seeing if you wanted to meet up and hang ?
I smiled at that last message no one well no boy as asked me out or to hang out
Ellen: Sure! When and where ?
Dylan: Hmm the mall and 12 pm?
Ellen : That's great!
I got excited and looked at the time, It read 11:30 " Shit!!" I jumped up and ran to the shower and started it, When I got out I picked my outfit out and I was really confident about it, A cute sweater with black ripped jeans and boots to top it off
I started putting eyeliner on and mascara when I got done I moved to my room and started on my hair, I was thinking about straightening it then putting it up, When I got done I stood up and put my clothes on I looked at the time and it was 11:58 I was happy that I finished on time well barely.
" Buzz buzz "
Dylan: Hey Ellen Whats your address again ?
Ellen: Oh ! Sorry totally forgot to tell you
Ellen : 1980 west pine
( I just made that up lol)
Dylan: Okay! And don't worry about it I'm on my way
I turn my phone off and ran downstairs
" Mom I'm going out " I shut the door behind and waited for Dylan on my porch, about 10 minutes went by and Dylan pulled into my drive way I felt myself blushing and stopped immediately he walked up to me and reached his hand out. I greeted him with my hand and smiling he gave me that smile again and I really wanted to smile but I didn't.
Dylan: Ready to go?
Ellen: Yep!

      We got to the mall and I never seen so many cars before and Dylan was struggling to find a parking spot, I spotted one and told him about it and we parked. Dylan got out then opened my door for me I blushed yes but it went away fast we walked up to the big doors of the mall, Ever since I was a little kid I loved the mall I don't know why I just loved it, I started walking to the shoe store I really needed new shoes I looked at all the vans and was trying to find some new slip on until I found the perfect pair they were black, yellow with sunflowers I fell in love and asked the employee that was working if they had these in the slip on.
Employee: Yes we do, what size are you?
He asked me and I told him 8 he smiled and went to the back room. Dylan came up to me smiling again I wanted to smile so bad. " Are you having fun?" He asked, I smiled and nodded then the employee came back and went to the cashier. I was so happy I got these they were just so beautiful.

         We played in that little kids playground just goofy around, He caught me smiling and took a picture I covered my face and he started to pout and I laughed uncovering my face, We got up and walked around the mall laughing and looking at stores he got a new outfit and a pair of vans. " Oh do you like vans ?" I asked kinda happy he looked up at me kinda shocked,"Oh I'm sorry if I scare you " I messed with my thumbs rubbing them against each other I do this when I'm really nervous or did something wrong, He grabbed my hands and smiled" Don't worry about it and yes I love vans".
