The scouts were ready and were about to be deployed. There were mixed reactions on the insides of the scouts. Many were shitting their pants, while others were determined and focussed, some in between.

Levi's and Hange's Squad

"Danielle? You look... Shakey?" Max pointed out.

She tried controlling her breathing while controlling her horse. It was to say the least, dodgy...

"Remember what I said in the dorms. Deep breaths, through your nose, out your mouth." Max suggested.

Danielle did as she was told but she still seemed troubled.

"Seriously though, don't think about whoever you like while we're in battle." Max warned.

Danielle gulped. "Sh- They're on your squad!"

"Good luck then..." Max grinned.

Some of the ride was silence, as an unsettling and brittle breeze rested upon them. Levi and Hange gave each other worrying looks, before scanning the landscapes. The other scouts caught onto what Levi and Hange thought.

"Keep your guard up." Levi said.

The breeze went on for 20 minutes until they felt a harsh shake which caused scouts to jump up from their horses and some to fall off their horses.

"The target is near!" Levi demanded, "Keep an eye out."

"Ooh this Titan seems rather interesting!" Hange giggled.

"Tch, rather threatening." Levi mumbled.

"Shit! Guys I can see it... I think?" Dante gasped, pointing in the distance.

Levi grunted, and gestured for them to follow him as he leaped up from his horse and grappled onto the Titan.

Hange thought about the situation and fired a flare to show they had spotted the Titan and need backup.

The scouts circled the Titan and none of them could really get close to them because there was this constant wind blowing, pulling them back.

"Mikasa! Can...you..get...p-past?" Jean questioned, getting muffled by the wind.

"No! It's...It's like a barrier!" Mikasa yelled, attempting to communicate.

The Titan stood tall and had a natural glare which scared the crap out of some of the scouts. It stayed still for most of the time, probably producing all that wind. It hadn't move until backup came. It was until all the backup came and the wind calmed down a bit, however it made very sudden movements and it slapped any scout nearby. Even more scouts were killed as they made the foolish decisions to go after their comrades.

"Jesus Victor! What are you doing? Don't go after Melissa! It's not worth it!!!" A scout screamed after seeing his comrade being smacked by the Titan.
"Shit!"

"Maybe... Maybe if we just push a little harder we'll get past, the wind has calm down." Max exclaimed, accelerating in speed. The others around her followed her and some managed to get past, enough to slice it up. Scouts attempted to cut through the skin and cut the nape, it didn't do much damage. As soon as anyone tried slicing the nape it swiftly attacked them back or covered it.

"It's a shifter!" Armin screamed.

The Titan seemed to have heard it and the scouts listening to Armin swooped back and warned some others to come back. The Titan replied with a violet and ferocious roar. It's arms lifted and was going to a clapping motion.

"Fall back!!" Erwin, Levi and other squad leaders commanded.

Unfortunately, before anyone else could back up the Titan summoned a tornado, not one but 3 tornadoes. Numerous scouts froze up at the sight of it and were unable to comprehend it, leading to their death. The confusion of this gush of wind took over their bodies.

"K-Klevi?! D-Don't stop moving!!" Screamed Melvin (a scout.)

Klevi was frozen and the last thing he saw was that tornadoes.

Melvin cried out, watching the tornadoes devour his best friend. He eventually faced the tornadoes...

Max kept going back, still looking back at the tornado, feeling guilt run through her veins

Max kept going back, still looking back at the tornado, feeling guilt run through her veins. Scouts who weren't fast enough were eventually swallowed up. She was told never to look back, but all she could do was look back and cry a little.  She then spotted the surviving scouts a few metres away from the walls.

"Thank the lord they're not in the walls range..." Erwin sighed, staring at the monster.

"Jesus, what is that thing?!" Jean yelled, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Wow! It's mesmerising!!" Hange said in awe and her goggles lit up.

"Shut up foureyes! This is no beauty... It could kill thousands. We need to get rid of that Titan." Levi demanded, growling.

"Levi, did you see the extent this thing could go?" Erwin argued.

"Tch, it doesn't matter. It's a big risk to mankind." He continued.

"We don't even know how to deal with this thing!" Erwin yelled.

"Well we know it's human." Armin pointed out.
"We could ambush it."

"We don't even know it could sense us!" Danielle mentioned.

"Then we'll take the risk!" Hange beamed, creepily.

"And lose even more scouts..." Max sniffed.

"M-Max, are you okay?" Danielle frowned.

"That Titan..." She growled with a tear rolling down her cheek.

"A hug?" Danielle blushed.

Max hugged her as she felt her warmth touch her body.
