Why are you staring?

Right now Natsu Dragneel felt uncomfortable. Like the type of I-want-to-runaway type uncomfortable. You may now be wondering why he's so uncomfortable. Could it be because he just ate all of the food at the buffet and he is now feeling the end result of doing such a thing or because he did it since he thought that it was a challenge to see how much food one person can eat which resulted to him being banned from the restaurant, but can you blame him. Every one was eating more than he has ever seen people eat at a regular restaurant (minus himself of course) so there for he was not guilty and should not have been banned because any one can make that mistake, Right? Like just put up a damn sign so that there won't be any misunderstanding instead of blaming the people who were being the logical ones since it did say ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet but no that was not the reason of him being uncomfortable. Natsu Dragneel was uncomfortable because He currently had a certain  blond looking at him in a weird way that made him incredibly self conscious who was none other than Lucy Heartfilia and resident celestial mage of Fairy Tail not to mention his girlfriend as well. "Uh, Luce, babe can you please tell me why you're just staring at me like that cause it's really creeping me out." He said as he sat down next to Lucy on the the bed in the room of there now shared apartment. Lucy jolted back and shook her head as if trying to get out of a trance while her boyfriend just sweatdropped. "Um sorry what did you say Natsu, I wasn't paying attention' the blond mage said as she thought as 'I hope he didn't catch me staring' 'that would be so uncomfortable' She was broken out of her thoughts as Natsu asked his question once again "I said why have you been staring at me so much lately, it's really creeping me out" 'shit he noticed' 'I hope he doesn't think that I am making fun of him if I tell him the reason' she worriedly as she looked at her boyfriend. "It nothing, just thinking" 'Please believe the lie' "Does it have anything to do with me?"  "Uh, n-n-no" Now Lucy was sweating bullets as Natsu looked at her intently. "You know I know that your lying since I can hear your pulse right?"  "What how did yo-" She was cut of by the blank expression that Natsu was giving her until she realized something 'Damn it and those dragon slayer senses' 'How am I supposed to get out of this' "Tell me the truth now Luce"  "Well uhh umm"  by now Lucy is a blushing mess as she trys to explain while looking at the top of his head.  "Your hair" She says as she blushes 50 shaded of red. "What about my head" Asks a perplexed Natsu.  "I want to touch your hair" Says a flustered Lucy. "Eh!?" Now Natsu was really confused. "Why Do you want to touch my hair" "Its pretty and pink"
Lucy says quietly but Natsu still hears it clearly. " Are you making fun of me?" says Natsu with a vacant expression on his face. "No,no,no it's not like that it's just that you are very cute and I have yet to touch your hair even though you're my boyfriend" "I think it's pretty and my favorite color" "Please don't think I'm making fun of you!" "So you're telling me...that you just want to mess with my  hair?"  "Yes"  "Because it's ... pink"

"If that was all why didn't you so before?"  "I didn't want you to think that I was being weird" Says a still blushing Lucy while her boyfriend lays on her lap as he grins at her adorably flustered face. "Go ahead, I don't mind you are my girlfriend after all."  "Really, Can I!?" Lucy says with a stars in her eyes like a child that was rewarded with candy.  "Why not."  "Yay" As she treads her fingers through his cherry blossom colored he hair she can not but noticed how soft it is even though it looks so naturaly spiked. As she continued to come her hands through his hair she could have sworn that she heard him purr but before she could teas him about she noticed that he was already asleep on her lap with a peaceful expression gracing his features as he silently snores (Who knew that Natsu could silently snore?) 'How cute, why  wouldn't I stare at you all day?' she thought as she quietly moved his head on his pillow in the bed and snuggles with him "How cute."
