Once the Ghost, Toast, and I had made back up to the hotel room Toast went to clean out Ghost's wound more thoroughly, while I filled in the Acachallas on what had happened.

"Are you sure it wasn't the ghost of Maxwell?" Papa Acachalla asked for the fiftieth time since I'd begun the story.

"She already told you that she was sure a hundred times Papa. Don't interrupt." Gertrude scolded.

"Thanks Gertrude. So after I had sucked Jimmy Caskett's spirit into the bottle we came back up here." I finished the story.

"Awesome!" Billy exclaimed.

"I figured that as soon as Toast is done cleaning Ghost up we can get back on the road. We've got about a day and a half of driving left so we should only have to spend the night at one more hotel." I raised my voice so Ghost and Toast could hear me, "And next time we aren't going ghost hunting!"

"We're all still alive aren't we?" Ghost shouted from the bathroom, "Ouch Toast be careful!"

"Barely alive Mister I'm Going to Barge into the Ghost's Lair and get Seriously Injured." I rolled my eyes.

"Well next time I'll make Toast barge in!"

"I'd really rather not sir." Toast and Ghost emerged from the bathroom.

"If everyone's ready let's get this show on the road." I grabbed my bags and headed out the door.

Sally passed me shouting, "I call shotgun!"

On the way out of the hotel the lady at the counter winked at Papa Acachalla and called out, "See you around handsome!"

Papa clicked his tongue at her in response and she practically swooned.

"Come on Romeo." Gertrude pulled him out the door and into the back row of the Batmobile.

Thankfully my car was pretty big so we were able to fit everyone. Sally sat next to me in the front row. Ghost, Toast, and Billy were wedged into the middle row in that order. Sally was turned around in her seat arguing with Johnny Toast over whether pancakes or waffles were better and Johnny Ghost was entertaining Billy with one of his P.I.E. Investigations. Gertrude and Papa Acachalla were seated comfortably in the back seat and Gertrude was scolding Papa for flirting with the hotel worker.

I pulled out of the parking lot and back onto the highway. We would be driving all day.

After about 4 hours the never ending "Are we there yet?" and "I'm hungry!" and even at one moment a "If we don't pull over right now I'm peeing in your car!" Grew to be too much so I pulled over for a lunch break. I was going to stop at McDonald's but then Sally had threatened to burn off all of my hair while I slept if we didn't go to IHOP so she could get waffles. Needless to say we stopped for IHOP for lunch.

Everyone sighed in relief as we climbed out of the car and into the fresh air. Sally and Billy ran into the IHOP and the others and I followed quickly. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to let Billy and Sally wander IHOP alone.

We entered the IHOP to find Billy trying to stop Sally from pouncing on a man peacefully eating his waffles, unaware of the dangerous situation he was in. Never get between Sally and her waffles.

"Sally if you wait a few more minutes we'll get you your own plate of waffles. Doesn't that sound good?" Gertrude asked as Papa Acachalla got us a table.

"Will there be maple syrup?" Sally's happy face made her look like an over eager puppy.

"Of course. Now if we follow that waiter he'll get us a table so we can order food."

"WAFFLEZ!" Sally cheered as she ran after the waiter who was leading our gang to our table.

Johnny and Johnny both ordered orange juice and pancakes and Toast also ordered a side of toast. Papa Acachalla tried to order pizza and beer and when informed that IHOP didn't have either he ordered a giant plate of bacon and Root Beer. Gertrude ordered a plate of pancakes with water. Sally, of course, ordered a giant plate of waffles with a glass of grape juice. Billy ordered bacon and eggs with water. I ordered pancakes and grape juice.

Lunch passed without incident and we hurried back out to the car. We opened the back door to be met with two very familiar faces. Maddy Friend and Spencer.

"BILLY FRIEND!"

"This car is so not legit. There isn't even wifi."
