Hello, my name is Matthew Tanners. I am the alpha of the worlds second largest pack. We are the North Ice Pack. I had a mate once. I lost her in a pack fight against the Fire Stone Pack. We have had a long and hate filled past. There alpha Marcus Tate is my ex-bestfriend. My great-great-great-great-great grandfather and his great-great-great-great-great grandfather had a rough past also. Marcus's grandfather kidnapped my grandfather's sister out of rage. This lead to many wars and power struggles. He is the one who started the fight against me.

~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~~
"Marcus listen to me. My pack did not cross your pack borders. I swear on my alpha title that I did not let anyone cross the borders."
" Matt I will not stand for your lying, filthy games."
" Please Marcus understand your father has filled your head with lies a-"
" No. You listen here Matthew Tanners we may have been best friends in the past but you have crossed the line. First a killing pack member then this. I have declared war on you pack. The next time we meet shall be in battle. I am sorry but as alpha I am requred to protect my pack. Even from you Matthew. "
" Fine Marcus may the Moongoddess have pity on your soul. And know I am sorry."
~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK OVER~~~~~~~~

The next week Marcus attacked my pack and I had no choice but to kill my old best friend. The battle waged on and it seemed it would not end. But after an hour of fighting by ex-best friend I won. And not even five-minutes later my mate Laura die at the hands of Marcus's sister Angela.. I found out that my Dad had been killed in the attack. This just fulled my hate fire. I immediately saw red and went on a killing spree. No matter how close to death I was I just kept killing.

 I killed a total of 58 people in a matter of 9 1\2 minutes. I counted the first free chance I had. And it still haunts me to this day. I know it was a war but I went through the history books and that is close to the world record of 103 in 9 minutes.

I had been hurt pretty bad when I was taking out Fire Stone pack people. I was missing skin and had 10 broken bones. My beta Dawson finally stopped me and I was taken to the the infirmary to be taken care of. I remember the lights blinding me as doctors and nurses alike tried to save me.

I still remember one person's face, well a girl face. I'm sure she was a doctor. And she was breathtaking. Light Brown hair tied back, she had the bluest blue eyes I've ever seen. But sadly at one point in the procedure I had blacked out. The blood loss was to much. I never got her name. And memories came rushing back to me as I slept.

~~~~~~~~~Memories~~~~~~~~~
I was a little boy and I had just fallen out of my Grandpa Jim's tree. My father was carrying me to my mother who was waiting to care for me. She used to be a paqck doctor.  Her motherly touch and gentle voice always soothed me. When I was sad or hurt.
The next image was of me and my little sister before rouges took her from me. I was pushing her on the swing when she was only 6 and I was 15. If she was still alive she would be 16. She was such a gentle soul. Lost her life at only 7.
The upcoming image was of me and my beautiful mate the first time I meet her. She was only 16, I was 18 at the time. She was new at school. Her family had just moved to my small town of Bramblecove Washington. They moved from L.A.
She walked into my first period class 10 minutes late. The teacher Miss. Henderson asked her to introduce herself. And she did with a slight blush on her cheeks. Her name was Laura Hope Dean. And with one look into my eyes she stole my heart, and I had hers.
The last memory I had before I woke was my mate telling me she loved me after we mated and I telling her I loved her. That night was the best of my life. I  was in the arms of the woman I loved.
But like the saying goes all good things must come to an end, and it did 6 months later she died before we had our first pup or were married.
