CHAPTER 2
After 2 hours of continuous hard work I finally headed to the showers. I loved having showers at the gym because it was a place I didn’t have to worry about any boys walking in on me and it was just me and the cold water that escaped down my back. I placed my clothes on the bench outside the stall and let my hair run free, as the cold water hit my skin I felt instantly better. It was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I didn’t have to worry about anything anymore. I spent a good half an hour slowly washing my hair and just standing there thinking, thinking about my day, my life, my thoughts and… someone else. He just, I don’t know, I really don’t know. I was just about to turn of the water when I heard someone else in the bathroom.
“Hello?” I asked, “Is anyone there?” I turned off the water and placed my towel around my cold naked body. I heard the scattering and noises coming closer, I opened the door slowly trying not to make it to obvious and saw a shadow sitting to the left of me. I took a step out of the stall and saw Beau, just sitting in the girl’s bathroom holding my clothes.
“Hm nice bra you have here,” he said with a big smile plastered on his face, “would it be a b cup? Maybe c? Maddie just come closer and I can tell you what I think.”
“Yeah, nice try there is no way you’re getting there today.” I replied trying to keep my towel up.
“Are you sure.. well then looks like someone’s not getting their clothes back.”
I quickly realised what he just said and walked up towards him, he pulled my clothes away from me and stood up. His eyes were staring at mine and his hands slowly moved around my waist. “Beau what are you doing?” I asked watching his lips.
“I’m pretty sure you know exactly what you want me to do” he replied just before his lips touched mine. The feeling I felt was out of this world, it was perfection and magic and my fingers ran their way through his hair. He pushed me against the wall and kissed me harder, my towel became loose and started to fall I went to grab it but beau whispered in my ear “just let it fall”. I hesitated and did what he said. What has happened in the last two days, I was feeling so different towards Beau and now he feels the same way? Is this a trick or are we actually going to do this? All these thoughts were running through my mind and I didn’t even realise what Beau was doing, his lips trailed down my neck as I tried to control my breathing. He got closer to boob and I pushed his him off, “Beau don’t,” I said trying to push him off, “I don’t want to do it, I don’t”
“but, I thought you said you wanted to and I saw the way you were looking at me yesterday.” He said trying to get his mind around what was happening.
“Not now, not here.” I picked up my towel and clothes and went to get changed. I heard Beau leave the bathrooms and quickly put my singlet and short on and placed my hair in a ponytail on the top of my head. When I walked out of the bathrooms beau was sitting on the ground talking to Jai and Luke, he looked over to me and stood up.
“Do you guys want to head home now?” I asked with a smile on my face.
“Yeah okay, oi Mads what movie do you want me to get for tonight?” Jai asked trying to put his stuff in his bag.
“I don’t really feel up to watching anything tonight, I’m just going to go home and head to bed, maybe tomorrow.” I replied trying to not look at Beau.
The boys nodded and didn’t ask any more questions. When we reached home I went straight upstairs and got into bed, I grabbed my phone and instantly called Amy. When she didn’t pick up I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, I need to talk to someone. After laying in bed for around 20 mintutes I heard a knock at the door, I said come in and Gina walked in and sat at the end of my bed.
“hey baby, are you all right?” She asked with concern in her voice.
“Yeah, I guess I’m just tired..”
“Really? Because Beau seems down to, did anything happen? Did you guys fight or something?”
“ah something like that” I replied trying to avoid eye contact, I was a horrible liar and I know she would be able to tell if I was.
“hm okay babe just remember I’m always here for you if you need anything, okay?”
“Thank you Gina, I love you so much”
“I love you to,” she replied walking towards the door, “Have a good rest.”
I closed my eyes and feel asleep nearly as soon as she left my room, my mind was throwing ideas all around the place and I knew this wasn’t exactly a good thing. I tried to stop thinking of the maybes and tried narrowing down to what has happened, I had nearly calmed myself down when my door slammed wide open. I opened my eyes and sat up right away and saw Beau standing in the door way.
“Maddie, we need to talk” he told me as he got into my bed.
