One afternoon a girl no older than twenty-six sat in her room. Her name was Y/n. She had beautiful h/c hair, dazzling e/c eyes. She was slim and looked sickly. Her skin was a dreadful pale color and she had dark circles under her eyes.
However, Y/n was not a happy girl. For twenty years she had been locked away. Deemed "unsafe" and "deadly" because of her father. She had attacked him one evening because he was talking smack about his own wife.
So, here she sat. Alone and cold on what is supposed to be a bed. She had been waiting for the sun to rise so she could eat. Of course, barely any light came through the small window above her bed.
Supposedly, long ago, she was a happy child who loved to play in the sun and dance till she couldn't breathe. Those memories were dead. Burned in her mind, to never be remembered.
"Ugh. Can't the sun just hurry up and rise?" The girl complained tiredly. She had been having nightmares the past few nights and refused to sleep because of them.
After what seemed to be an eternity, she saw a dim light start shedding into the room and she hummed. "Finally." She groaned, her stomach growling for what seemed to be the millionth time that night.
The room gradually got brighter, with this brightness the sound of the girls hunger grew louder. She was starving and was ecstatic to finally have food. One she could see the sun in her window, an intercom turned on.
"Good morning Y/n. What do you want for breakfast? How about some bread, eggs, and juice? Sound good? That's what you're getting." The voice of her father rang through the room and Y/n almost growled. She despised her father and would do anything to leave this area.
"Nothing new there." She mumbled as the door opened. She looked over at the nurse and took the tray. Y/n started eating right away and made sure to eat slow so she didn't gain weight.
"After you're done, I want you to meet me in my office. You know where it is." Her father said, turning off the intercom. The girl nodded and finished her food, the nurse taking the tray and Y/n leaving for the office.
She made her way there quietly, not being bothered by anyone as they were too scared or didn't care to talk to her. Upon reaching the office, she didn't bother knocking and entered.
"Hello daughter." The man hissed, poison dripping from his tone. It came as no surprise that he hated her. In fact, she hated him right back.
"What do you need from me this time?" Y/n asked boredly. Her father reached into his desk and produced a bottle of pills.
"You are going to be my little guinea pig to test these pills. You are to take two every twelve hours." She took the bottle and hummed.
"Sure thing doc." She hated having to take the pills but did it anyways so she didn't have to be tortured for the millionth time.
"Now leave. Go back to your cell or into the back area for some light. You're getting pale." It was obvious he didn't care either way, he just needed her healthy so she could do as he said.
Without another word, the female left the office and headed to the outdoors. She walked out and layed on the bench, face up. She decided she would tan a bit so she didn't look as unhealthy as she did.
An hour later, she flipped onto her stomach. Her skin had visibly darkened and she had a slight sunburn on her cheeks. She stayed outside for another hour before heading inside. Y/n went to her room, checked the time, and hummed.
"9 am. Alright. I'll take the pills at ten." She put the pills on the nightstand that was beside her bed and sat down. The h/c haired girl opened up one of the drawers a grabbed her book. It was called "Passion Blue".
She had read the book so many times and she never got bored of it. After she closed the drawer she laid back and read till ten.
