~Chapter 18~ Jealousy hits

After having a talk with Nandini, Manik left for Alya's room. He was determined to clear everything and start afresh. He just wanted to start this relation with a happy note and without holding any grudges against one other.

Soon it was lunch time and as scheduled Manik excused himself from Alya's room where Dhruv was sitting beside Alya and was went to the canteen. He was waiting there he saw Nandini walk inside with an exhausted face, having her lab coat in her hand. She spotted Manik and walked towards him. Manik got up and pulled a chair for her to which she muttered a sweet Thank you and settled on it. Both of them were sitting quietly as they didn't understand from where and how to start the conversation..

"Ahmm Nandini..I am sorry!" Manik initiated the conversation by apologising.

"Sorry?" Nandini asked being confused.

"Woh for my behavior .. Main Jo bina koi explanation diye I ran away to Dubai.. I know I have no such justification but I didn't know what to say.. Its just that I ..matalb tum samjh rahi hona.. woh.." Manik said rather stammered as he was not able to put forward his views.

"Manik! I understand.."

"You understood?"

"Haan I understood your point of view and I am not angry at you!"

"Sacchi na? Agar tum iss liye bol rahi ho so that I don't feel guilty then please don't! Jo bhi hai voh sahi se bolo"

"Yes Manik! I am dead serious.. Infact I too wanted to apology for my rudeness. Main samajh sakti hoon ki aapni family ke feelings to hurt karna is not possible... Maine toh bas aap pe sara burden daal diya ek baar bhi nhi socha ki how will you handle everything. So I am sorry for that.." Nandini spoke putting forward her views about everything.

"Its fine Nandini..."

"Hmm.." they again paused and sat while engrossed in their own thoughts.

"Nandini.. See don't take me wrong but main yeh kehna chahta noon that aaj nahi toh kal we have to get married so why not we carry it forward. Lets go with the flow and give this relation a chance. Let us know each other and start afresh... If you don't have any problem with it." Manik asked.

"Frankly speaking Manik main bhi yehi chahti hoon.. I too think that we should give it a shot. Kya pata yeh boat sail ho jaye ..." Nandini spoke the last line to make it a bit light.

"So why not start with knowing each other?" Manik spoke.

"I don't have any problem..."

"Okay so lets do this thing. But yaha?"

"Haan. Kuch problem hai kya? Aap bata sakte ho mujhe."

"Nahi.. problem nahi h but you know these hospital surroundings. Yaar positive vibes nahi aati hai na.." Manik tried to make the environment happy and he too succeeded as Nandini smiled listening this.

"So What's the plan then? " Nandini asked.

"Let's go somewhere.."

"Where?."

"The most soothing place. Come!.." and then both of them left the canteen walking towards the parking area.
They sat in the car and manik drove towards their destination. As the car stopped Nandini was amazed to see the place,beach.
