It was a few years back
I was caught off track
with this little thing
I like to call the love game
Baby, it bursted a flame
Mama always told me not to play with fire
Even if it may bring me a great desire
She always said to be careful about kidnappers
Them and also some other troublemakers
Mama told me to try to avoid mishaps
Constantly informing me not to fall in traps
But ain't there always a catch
Something to it you will get attached
She warned me of the drugs on the streets
But never of the one with the black eyes and a heartbeat
He's my trouble
Trouble
But it makes me love him double
Double
I think he's growing a stubble
Stubble
He's dangerous
Dangerous
He's contagious
Contagious
My love for him is pious
Pious
You don't need to tell me to see
That he's bad for me
I'm quite aware
For him I've got a flair
But his eyes are as dark as his soul
My lust for him is something I can't control
He's my trouble
Trouble
But it makes me love him double
Double
I think he's growing a stubble
Stubble
He's dangerous
Dangerous
He's contagious
Contagious
My love for him is pious
Pious
I know this is cliché
But I gotta say
Every time I see him
My heart starts beating up a rhythm
Not to mention the butterflies in my stomach
Then all other animals start to mimic
It's like a zoo in there
Sometimes it's hard to bare
Did I mention his jet black hair?
I wanna run my fingers through there
Wanna get thoughts of me burning through his mind
I want myself for him to find
After all the burns, I'll still be kind
I wish that I can press rewind
Go back in time
He's my trouble
Trouble
But it makes me love him double
Double
I think he's growing a stubble
Stubble
He's dangerous
Dangerous
He's contagious
Contagious
My love for him is pious
Pious
