Summer vacation starts today, and I couldn't be happier to finally have a break for the first time in forever. As soon as the last bell rang, I rushed out to my car, rolled down the windows, drove away from the school, and blasted The Vamps' music so loud that my body was actually vibrating.

I was driving on the highway, screaming the lyrics to Can We Dance?, "I talk a lot of shit when I'm drinking, baby, I'm known to go a little too fast! Don't mind all my friends, I know they're all crazy, but they're the only friends that I have!"

I was in the midst of literally screaming out the window when I saw someone waving from the right lane next to me out of the corner of my eye. I turned a bit, only to see that Brad fucking Simpson, from The Vamps, was waving at me and bopping his head along to the music that was blaring from my speakers. I swore I was gonna crash the car, I couldn't believe that he was next to me. We were jamming to the song together, throwing the lyrics back and forth as we both drove at the same pace. I was laughing my ass off, unable to even process what was happening until we came to a stop light. We were side by side, waiting for the light to turn green, which thankfully took ages. The song ended, and another song by The Vamps came on in the meantime, but I turned it down and talked to him through my window. "Hi!" I yelled, so excited to be talking to literally my favorite person ever.

"Hi there, your singing was lovely!" he laughed. He had one arm resting on the edge of his window, and he looked sooooo good with his dark glasses and windswept hair.

"Thank you, I fucking love your music." I laughed. "I can't even believe this is happening right now."

He laughed at me, "Me neither, I love it though." He had the biggest smile, and I was so focused on him until I heard cars honking behind us because the light had turned green. "Meet me over there!" he yelled as he pointed to the right, to a small plaza with a grocery store and a Dunkin' Donuts.

I was at a loss for words, again, but I was, of course, going to go over there. I quickly merged into the right lane and followed behind Brad as we both pulled into the small plaza, and parked our cars next to each other. He had parked first and was out of his car by the time I was settled into my spot. I quickly took my keys out of the ignition, grabbed my phone, and got out of my car to see him waiting behind his car for me. I couldn't help myself, and I just ran to him and gave him a hug, which he seemed to be expecting. He wrapped his arms around me and rocked me back and forth a bit, and I was just so happy at that moment.

"What's your name love?" he asked as I pulled away from him.

"Y/N," I smiled.

"Well, it's nice to officially meet you rather than just sing with you." he laughed.

"You too, I've been trying to meet you guys for ages now, this is like a fucking miracle!" I exclaimed.

"You're hilarious," he said, unable to not laugh. "Do you want to get coffee over there?" he said, gesturing to the Dunkin' Donuts that was quite close to us.

I smiled at him, "I'd love to." And with that, we ended up spending hours on end at Dunkin' Donuts that day, and I could easily say that it was the best day of my life.
