Then You'll See

You say we do nothing,
But everything you ask gets done.

You act like it's chore to have us around, and you play these games with everyone.

To you, we're nothing but a waste of space. You say it again and again until we're nothing but the words you create.

"I didn't have to take you in,"
Yes, I know, but you made life hell when you did.

If we're speaking the truth, than truth be told, you're nothing but a narcissistic asshole.

Your life revolves around tearing us down, but soon enough I'm going to move out.

One more year, then I'll be free
Of all the cages you put around me.
And when I'm gone is when you'll see, that after I leave you're gonna miss me.

Not for me, no that would be too kind, but only for you, like your entire life. See, you only realize when we mess up; you don't know that everything we do is for you because you're too busy looking at what's not the truth.

Dinner, the dishes, the yard, the house, yes when I'm gone you'll have to do it all yourself. So once I leave, you're going to see that never again will you control me.
