Once upon a time there was a Luke Korns. Luke Korns was a small child and was afraid of many things. When Luke was only 7 years old, he went to his grammy's house for brunch. He sat down at the table covered in an assortment of delicious foods. Glancing to the left of him, he saw the largest plate of pancakes he had ever seen. Pancakes were his most favorite things ever. So he grabbed the plate and started shoveling pancakes in his mouth. After eating about 10 pancakes, he finally noticed something. He noticed that these were not pancakes!! They tasted like potatoes!! He shouted loudly across the table, "WHAT KIND OF PANCAKES TASTE LIKE POTATOES?!!" His grammy said patiently, and calmly, "Those are latkes, my sweet, not pancakes."
Luke sat in shock for about 30 seconds with part of a latke hanging from his mouth. Luke thought to himself "Why the h*ck would someone make potatoes in the form of my favorite breakfast item?! I NEED TO KICK A MAILBOX". Luke hated potatoes with a passion, just thinking about a potato made him cry in anger for 20 minutes. When he had recovered from his state of shock, he jumped up, flipped the table over, and ran out of the house.
Luke ran and ran until he came to a bridge. He walked about halfway down the bridge, and watched the water lazily trickle by. Resting his head on his hands, he rethought his entire life. Luke fell asleep while rethinking everything, then a fisherman came by and took him back to his grammy's house.
Luke has had trust issues ever since.
