Shawn's POV

The walls in the room I've visited for the last three days are plain white and I start internally cursing myself for even admitting my feelings for Teagan. If I never dragged her into this she would've never seen the twitter comments, she would've never taken those pills, and we wouldn't be waiting in this boring ass hospital for her wake up.

Imagining life without Teagan was worse than imagining my old bestfriend, Caleb, coming through on his threats by taking down my career one friendship at a time. The little asshole better not mess with Teagan...

He'd screwed over a lot of girls, broke a lot of hearts, and ruined a lot of lives. Teagan would not fall into his trap: friend or more. She wouldn't get hurt by him. As long as I'm around she will stay completely safe. Well Shawn you managed to get her here didnt you? What makes you think she's safe with you?

A set of eyes start to flutter open and I immediately rush to her side and cling to her like a two year old child to his mother.

"Shawn. Get off of me please." Her voice was weak and unsteady.

"Of course. I'm sorry." Instantly I let her go, still staring into her eyes. The bright blue orbs of light were beautiful. The way her hair fell in a mess to frame her face was incredible. This girl had my heart.

"How long have I been here? Unconscious I mean."

"Three days. This is the third day." Her dad pipes up from the chair in the corner of the room.

"I-I'm sorry guys." Her eyes start to tear up and she looks away from me to face her eyes on what seems to be her buzzing phone.

Her phone rings with 397 notifications from twitter stating "get better" or "I'm praying for you, Shawn. Get better Teagan."

"Shawn what did you tweet?" Her sea colored eyes meet my much darker eyes.

"Well I tweeted something along the lines of words do hurt and that you were unconscious because of those douchebags." My language toward her catches me off guard but doesn't phase her.

"That's why everyone is suddenly liking me? So they're not liable for my death?"

Before I can answer four nurses rush in apparently just now realizing she's awake.

The fourth nurse who's name was evidently Sandy nearly fangirls to death when she recognizes me.

"Ohmygosh! Shawn Mendes! OHMYGOSH!"

"Hi um... Sandy. um my girlfriend is sort of you know... Awake now? So can you um please get her unhooked from every machine so she can go home?"

"C-certainly Mr. Mendes." She smiles waaaay too much.

"Great thank you." I smirk and walk out of the room. I'm not staying in there with some quacky 30 year old fan whose probably a mother of five. Her kids probably like me but she probably fangirls more than them all combined. Maybe she's a rapist... Or a cat lady. Yeah, let's go with cat lady.

Out walks Teagan to save me from my thoughts of the obsessed woman.

She nearly tackles me to the ground in an attempt to run and jump in my arms.

"Thank you for saving me." Her words were muffled from her mouth on my shoulder.

I don't answer. I just stand there in this piece of heaven with her. Thank God for spare keys.
