Hours passed, Alexander slowly opened his eyes and was laying on a dirty sofa. He groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

Hiro paced through, on the phone, "Come on there's got to be one more! Ugh.. I'll find someone" he groaned and looked towards Alexander "Get ready kid. Today you'll show your worth." Alexander darted his eyes towards him.
"What? Y'know I'm not in the mood to argue."

Begrudgingly, he stood up and pulled his hoodie over his messy hair, slipping his converse on, trudging outside. Suddenly, Hiro shoves a knife in its holder into his chest. "take this. You'll need it" Alexander stumbled back and took it.

The moonlight glistened on the frosty grass as they sneaked out into the darkness. Hiro discreetly glanced at his list messily crumpled up in his pocket "The house is around here somewhere. We've got to be careful." He darted behind a wall, scanning the street in case. He signalled Alexander and Melissa over and eyes flicked around as they ran across.

Slowly, Hiro looked up at a balcony "This is the right place. Come on" suddenly he hoisted himself on a drain pipe, climbing on to the balcony. "New kid. I need you for this. Melissa keep an eye out." Melissa nodded her head in response and nervously looked around, staring at the dimly lit road, shadows towering on the pavement.

Slowly and cautiously, Alexander gripped on to the drain pipe, struggling but climbing up it, jumping on the balcony, making a deafening scrape. Hiro glared at him "the whole point of this is to. Stay. Quiet." He gritted his teeth.
"Shit sorry..." Alexander whisper yelled to him, gripping his arm. Melissa looked up at them and gave them a thumbs up to give them the all-clear. Hiro nodded and knelt down, pulling a bobby pin and a paper clip from his bag then turned towards the window, silently picking the lock as Alexander nervously looked around, rubbing his arm.

Eventually, the lock clicks, Hiro's eyes lighting up for a second. "Ha yes." Triumphantly, he pulled the window open and very slowly, stepped in. Alexander slowly followed behind, fiddling with his knife holster. Grinning, Hiro glared at the victim who was tossing in their bed.

Cautiously, he sneaked over, pulling Alexander over, signalling him to take out the knife and he does so, giving Hiro a petrified look. "Do we have to?" Alexander's voice shook.
"Get used to it." Hiro bluntly said and suddenly, he snatched the pillow from under the sleeping victim and forced it over their face roughly. The victim panicked, flailing their legs and arms. Alexander panicked but looked at Hiro.
"Do it." Hiro showed no emotion. Alexander raised the knife above his head, hands trembling and he looked away, swinging the knife down, plunging it into the victim's chest.

The victim writhed in pain, blood staining the sheets and the pillow. Alexander couldn't bear to look and choked back tears and his lunch. "Please... stop moving... I just want to get this over with..." he said under his breath. Slowly, the victim's arms and legs fell limp, only managing to make twitches. Hiro tossed the pillow into the fireplace across the victim's room as well as the sheets to discard evidence. "Tie them up and clean off your knife." He said emotionlessly.

Once they manage to escape, Alexander dragged the body across the pavement. "I.... I didn't sign up for this." His eyes wide, pupils small, face pale and his hands and breath trembling.
"Neither did I. I'm still not used to it." Melissa softly looked at him. Hiro picked up the body and dragged his feet to a ledge, shoving the body into a fast streamed river. He brushed himself off and looked at the others. "Now! Who's up for some ice cream?" He smiled brightly and confidently.
"I can barely keep water down..." Alexander didn't look up.

The next day, Hiro sat at a broken table in the base, looking at a newspaper. "Hm. Darren Piloth missing. No trace of body found," He scoffed and took a sip of coffee "nice job well done if I do have to say so myself." He leant back on his chair, resting his feet on the table. Alexander just sat silently, staring at his food.
"I didn't want to do it. What kind of sick fantasy is this?" He looked up, tears welling in his eyes "I DIDN'T SIGN UP TO FUCKING MURDER PEOPLE! I DIDN'T SIGN UP TO THIS AT ALL!" He slammed his fists on the table.
Hiro glanced at him "Melissa had a similar reaction. You'll get used to it. You did pretty well. Go pull yourself together and get dressed. I'll explain what we do."

Reluctantly, he got up and stormed to his assigned room and got dressed. He stared at his hands, clenching them into fists "What are you doing... you don't even know your own name anymore..."
