A Deck in the Cards

"Hello! Welcome and get out! Pull out a chair and sit on the floor! Join me for a long journey that is fairly short. Confused? Good, you're supposed to be! After all, I'm the world's biggest liar!! If you believe it, that is." I say to no one but the readers themselves as I jump away from perilous danger, gunshots flying over my precious head.

"Watch it officers, I need that!" I giddily joke as I run off onto endless support beams in the city's endless buildings and work-in-progresses.

I turn back one last time to see Blake Winters, the man who dreams of doing what I do, only to fail and help the police out more. What a dolt. I watch his face grimace at me escaping once again, him holding one of my beloved calling cards in his hands. Aww he remembered! My calling cards are special after all, they tell him specifically where I will hit and what I will do, if he can solve my endless chain of lies on each that is. He usually solves the simple ones, but he hasn't figured out the deep meaning in any of them -- they're love letters! That's right, I Ace Spades, Yuicha city's very own thief of mysteries, is in love with the world's best detective, but world's worst trouble maker. His pale winter skin, black hair and icy blue eyes are to die for! Too bad I'm not willing to get shot.

As said in the biggest lie ever told, "A fine day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight." Sadly these dead boys shall not fight, but instead, play a game of mouse and cat where the mouse shall kill its cat in the name of all things cheddar. Now cheddar being very good, especially in the market, I need much of it, and where else to look than the Heart of Town bank? It has so much cheddar, but those mean mice don't like to share, so along come the little birds to sing, give way for smaller mice like myself to come in and steal a little more than my share.

Now, the name Ace Spades is known as a higher class richer man, but the name Card Holder? Now that's a famous city thief, and they're both, me! Yes, I am dead boy one and two! They got up, but never fought, just lived the lie that they were taught! Of course, not from school, that'd be too cool for my 16 year old self. Mr. Winters on the other hand, is only 19, and a senior. I am as well, I skipped 2 grades and boy oh boy is watching him struggle just beautiful! Oh, how I love seeing him brimming with hate!

I continued to run on, avoiding the officers and Mr. Winter's gorgeous face as I vanished once again into the dead of night. I grinned at another successful robbery. Oh how it feels amazing to be chased by Blake Winters, most people would be afraid, but not I, I feel a shiver of enjoyment whenever he calls for my arrest. Makes me wish he'd grab my arm and attempt to pull me into his police car. Now I know I sound like a creep, but wouldn't you love the guy or girl of your dreams to pull you away to someplace meaningful? I do, oh how I wish, the most he's done to me is shoving me into a wall, it still makes me giddy in excitement. Oh how I love you Blake Winters. I finally got to my home, locking the door and hiding the robbery money into my safe. My safe is locked within more safes, I'm very careful with my earnings, and I don't trust banks, considering I rob them for a living.

I deposited the money, minus about $200 or so. I say I work in the city mines, which only pays $200 a week, give or take $50 or so. I showered and changed, taking my money and hiding it, the depositing in my mother's bank. It's well respected, so people will rob other banks cause of how nice she'll treat the people who try. When someone tries, she convinces then to make an account and treats them kindly; she sometimes will give them a free month if they rob another bank, and will hide their account in her system. My dad also robs banks for their joint account, my family is a family of robbers and cheats, but we can never be caught, considering so many people love us.

I walked in, saying hello to the lady working, and deposited my $200, and leaving feeling happy. Today has been an amazing day, I smiled at the thought of Blake roughly slamming me into wall for my crimes one day, but until them, I will play with his heart like a puppeteer.
