Prologue
Hi! My name is Amber Reed. I am a 14-year-old girl from California. I have dark brown hair that goes down to the middle of my back. I have big, brown eyes. And I'm pretty short for my age.
Both my parents died in a car accident when I was seven. When they died, I was sent to an orphanage. I have been in and out of the orphanage. I was adopted a few times, but they always sent me back. I really don't know why.
Well that's enough of sad things, I love to dance. I dance ballet since i was little. But ever since my parents died, I haven't been to a dance class. The orphanage can't pay for the classes. And even if they did, they would have to give the other children the same opportunities. Not only do I dance, but I also sing and play the piano. Most people don't know what I love to do because I try to hide it from them. One other thing I like to do is act. Well, that's enough about me.
And this is the story of when i was adopted by Dylan O'Brien.
