Chapter 10

I step out my window and sit on the roof and look down on the lawn. He's with Paige. I turn to Braden and motion him to come sit on the roof and see this. Braden sits beside me and looks down and shakes his head. I lay down on my stomach and position my head so I can hear them talking, but they still can't see me.

"Dawson! You're too funny!"

Paige puts her hand on Dawson's arm and bats her eyelashes at him.

"You're the funny one Paige."

Is he flirting? MY brother FLIRTING?! with HER?!

Paige giggles and steps closer to Dawson and I cringe.

"At least you're cuter than me Dawsey."

I clench my fist and my face starts to turn red. She's such an idiot!

"Noooo you're the cute one Paigey Wagey!"

Paige giggles and steps even closer to Dawson...if that's even possible.

"I can't believe your sister is Olivia."

"Why?"

"She's such a bitch. I mean she stole Braden right away from me. But that doesn't matter since I met you."

"Huh....."

Yeah way to go Dawson! He's not the best at flirting. He's only ever had one girlfriend, and it was in 2nd grade!

"Ya heard me...I got you now."

Paige trails her fingers up Dawson's chest and takes a step closer to Dawson and winks at him. I clench my fist and look at Braden. I climb back in my window and Braden follows me. I sit on the edge of the bed and unclench my fists.

"Paige is such a frigin idiot. Hitting on my brother like that."

"Just let it go Liv."

"Whatever. That's his choice. He's stupid too. I don't want him with her."

"No offense, but it didn't look like Dawson minded that much."

"I know. I thought he was better than that. I'm gonna have to talk to him about it."

"Olivia calm down. If Dawson wants to be an idiot let him. Paige is bad news."

"Exactly, but I'm still gonna try to save him. I'm gonna help Sandy now. You should go home before to I get yelled at. I'll text you later."

"Alright. Don't let Paige and Dawson bug you Olivia."

"I'll try."

I wave at Braden before he leaves. He slides to the edge of the roof then jumps to the tree and climbs back down. I smile and go downstairs and see Cory in the kitchen.

"Hey Cory."

"Are you better now Livvy?"

"I'm good. My brothers just an idiot."

"Why?"

"Oh apparently Paige likes him and he doesn't seem to have a problem with it."

"She's a bitch."

"You're tellin me? Where's Sandy?"

"She went to town for errands when you were upstairs, she'll be back in awhile."

"Kk!"

I go in the living room to watch tv, and Cory goes in the guest room to watch his tv. As soon as I get into my show, two people come trailing in the living room. Oh my god, I could scream. It's stupid god darn Paige and Dawson. They both sit down on the couch and totally ignore me. Then Paige grabs the remote and changes the channel.

"Paige I was watching that."

No reply.

Dawson gets up and goes somewhere, God only knows where he went! I don't really care. But the only bad thing is that now I'm alone with Paige.

"Paige. Turn. My. Show. On. Now."

Paige looks at me and smirks.

"Hi Olivia. How long have you been here?"

"Longer than you. Give me the remote or turn my show back on before I..."

"Before you what? Hit me? Go ahead! You didn't hit me when we were at Braden's."

I roll my eyes and get up. Paige stands up and grabs me by the arm.

"I was talking to you. "

"Yeah, and now I'm done. Now leave me alone."

"No Olivia. I just wanna talk, what's wrong with that?"

"Go talk to Dawson. I don't give a shit about you."

"Are you jealous that I dated Braden for two months?"

"Nope! Not a bit!"

"I doubt that. He's the best boyfriend I've ever had. Who was your other friend there that day? He was hot."

"What friend?"

As if on cue, Cory steps out of the guest room and waves to us. Paige steps past me and smirks.

"That friend. He's absolutely fine."

Cory gives me a weird look and I glare at Paige.

"Oh what was that look for Livvy? Why can't we all be friends?"

"Go away Paige. Get out of this house."

"Not until he leaves. I wanna go home with him."

Paige steps over to Cory and starts to poke him in the sides and giggles. I take a step closer.

"Paige cut it out. Oh and stay away from Dawson."

"Dawson's not here right now is he? Oh and I'm not gonna stay away from him!"

Paige tries to kiss Cory, but I jump in and punch her in the nose. I hear a crack and I smile, satisfied. Paige looks at me with disgust in her eyes and I smirk at her.

"Is there a problem Paige? Why can't we all be friends?"

I give her a smile and a shake of my head.

"Go find Dawson."

"I'll tell him you did this to me you filthy skank!"

"Good. I hope you do."

Paige storms off and I turn to Cory and he's grinning ear to ear. I smile and look at him.

"What're you grinning at?"

"Your mad ninja skills. That was awesome! I think you broke her nose!"

"I didn't think I hit her that hard, but if I did then oh well!"
