Ilhoon's birthday party

Changsub frowned as he swing the door open and find a pack of idols dancing, drinking and yes... swimming. So Ilhoon wasn't exaggerating when he told him that he'd invite a lot on his pool party. He scanned the room and he found Chorong sitting on a corner with Hoya, drinking a cocktail.
He let his eye brow raise as he approach them amidst Sungjae's furious calling at him to go to Red Velvet's table. He felt amused on how Chorong's smile can make Hoya scratch his head like he's nervous.
"What's up?" He broke the romantic scene and they both stared at him.
"C-Changsub!! Chorong stammered "I thought you're not coming." She stood up and she met his gaze.
"So you found yourself a date?" Changsub looking at Hoya but he grinned back at him. "No worries Changsub." He winked at him and tapped his shoulder, he leaned forward and whispered "You can have your girl back." Hoya said, walking away
"What? No, I--" But he was too late. He's now facing Chorong, crossing her arms like she was about to scold him.
"What?" He replied
"Hey you there Noona and Hyung!" Ilhoon yelled, breaking the war that was just about to erupt
"Happy birthday Iruna. I'm sorry I'm late." Changsub grinned, giving him a balenciaga paper bag. Ilhoon peeked at it and smiled. "Aaah... it's okay" and he grinned.
"You little brat." Chorong said and Ilhoon gave her a cute peace sign.
"Noona and hyung, since I'm such an angel, go to that room on far left, I have prepared a mini theatre for my guests entertainment. Go there, it's too crowded here, come on. Come on." Ilhoon said, almost pushing them. Giving him a scary wink while singing along to Minhyuk's part of the song.
Changsub pulled Chorong's wrist so that she can't complain anymore.
"Aish." She complained almost inaudibly. They can see Ilhoon waving them goodbye with a grin on his face.

They sat at the far corner of the dim room. He saw Hyunsik and Hani on the other side, she is leaning her back on him, while Hyunsik is touching her hair.
Hyunsik met his eyes and he winked at him .
Aish, really?
Chorong punched him in the shoulder, The answer is written all over her face that she understood that this room is mostly occupied by the hiding couples of the Idol world. "Yah! This is so awkward... Let's go outside!" She said tugging his shirt.
"We did nothing wrong." He stared back at Hyunsik.
Hyunsik the eagle laughed back at him mockingly. Giving him a peace sign and a heart.
"We are going to watch this movie. Sit comfortably, do not mind them." He answered absentmindedly but nervous nonetheless.

The movie started and as he predicted, it'll be a scary and thriller one. It looked like Ilhoon has scammed the male idols of kpop world to have this kind of event.
This kid really.
Chorong's protests stopped completely as he observed that she was totally lost inside the story.
The movie was downright scary and bloody but he can't help but to look at the couples busy watching, or not watching. As a body ooz a gushing amount of blood in the screen he saw Hani hugged Hyunsik tighter and Changsub laughed just a little louder than he's supposed to. Everyone gave him a piercing look.
When the scene involve knives, his heart thumped crazily not because of this but when he became aware of a painful squeezing sensation in his right hand. He looked down and saw Chorong had grabbed it in panic.
Changsub snapped his head back up and see that the scene turned less bloody and the heroine just saved herself from cutting her body into two. He heard a sigh of relief from Chorong uttering " Thank goodness" under her breath.
"Are you okay?" He checked and she just nodded
"Yeah" replied Chorong but her eyes is peeled on the screen
While he watched the movie more seriously now, Changsub keeps noticing that Chorong is still holding his hand. Her panic has subsided and her grip wasn't as tight it had been originally but it was still there, curled around his fingers.
He was tempted to look on their hands but he didn't want to draw attention to it. If Chorong noticed what she was doing she'd be embarassed right? It was better that he just let her keep holding his hand. It wasn't like he minded all that much.
Unable to stop himself, Changsub chance a glance at Chorong. Her face was paler than usual. Her forehead is creased and she's biting her lower lip.
A sudden booming sound from the movie caused his attention to snap back . He realized that he's been staring at Chorong for too long that he did not notice Sungjae and Joy sitting beside them. Sungjae gave him a grin while Joy is raising her eyebrow, looking at their intertwined hands. They gave him a meaningful smile. He just glared at Sungjae to shut up like nothing happened but he kept being distracted by Chorong.
He could just make her out in the periphery of his vision, still chewing on her bottom lip. Slowly, Changsub shifted far back at his sit to get a better view of her. He didn't want to move quickly or she'd notice and possibly stop holding his hand which, for some reason, he really didn't want to happen. From his new point of view, he could now see her profile pretty clearly. The scent of her hair more distinct.
The shriek of horror-strucked female idols from the room broke his concentration again and he concluded that the movie is on it's climax. "Please no. Do not appear. Do not appear." Chorong is now murmuring under her breath and he chuckled silently.
She suddenly let out a yell, and she turned to him, almost hugging.
Chorong tensed and Changsub turned to her immediately. Her hands now grasping fiercely at him, her head almost lying on his chest. Her eyes completely shut.
He leaned down on her whispering "Yah, are you okay?"
"Yeah, this is just so terrifying" She opened her eyes but not loking at the monitor, still on their hugging position.
He did not know why his hands automatically tapped her back, enclosing her to him while he let out a chuckle on her ears "You are a scaredy cat." His heart starts to beat out of ryhthm again at this moment that he is hugging Chorong.
She straighten her sit and she looked at him. Her face is so red. Is she furious at him? She did not speak to him again until the movie ended.
At the far corner, he saw Hyunsik looking at him giving him a thumbs up. Sungjae and Joy busy whispering and giggling at each other while looking at them.
There's no way that their thinking that we are dating, right?
They are just best friends.

A jolt of something went through his system at the word.
He must sort his feelings as soon as possible.

Hello! This is another one shot from Changsub's perspective. Actually, this is kinda related to falling. Almost the first scene prior to "falling" where Changsub is organising his thoughts about Chorong. :)
Sorry I'm such a one shot type of writer. I hope you enjoyed nonetheless.
