increasingly, teenage fiction comes in many forms, from tales about depressive girls lost in the cages of their own minds to characters who have relationships that are destructive for both parties.
telling stories is a practice that people use to understand the world around them, and as time goes on, these stories evolve from the sort that are read at bedtime to visceral tales riven with blood.
i have always, as an author, tried many different methods of writing. this story is told through the prism of two characters who are united by a road, separated by class, united by grief and once again, separated by an unremitting trail of destruction in their lives.
the following tale is told through a mass of therapy sessions, which have been re-created faithfully and which detail their harrowing experiences.
