Barry x Adam Fanfic

The first and only chapter lol

    The fun day Barry and Adam had finally come to an end. They were so excited to have another fun day tomorrow, but the two spoke to soon. Barry was in danger; he was being chased by a little girl on his way back to the hive, and Adam had noticed. Only to help Barry away from the little girl, Adam had no choice but to sting her, and he knew what was going to happen next. Adam raced over to the little girl chasing his friend and stung her on the arm, the little girl ran away to find her parents. The bee that had stung the girl instantly fell into the grass. “Adam!” Barry shrieked. Barry raced down to where Adam had fallen; he only had matter of minutes to live. With his little hands, Barry held Adam in them; tears streaming down his cheeks. Adam reached up to touch Barry’s face, to wipe away his tears. The sunlight shimmered off of Barry’s teary eyes and he gazed into Adam’s eyes. “Why did you have to do that, Adam?” Barely breathing, Adam responded softly. “Because… I love you, Barry.” He gasped at what he had heard from his friend; Barry most definitely loved Adam back, but this is not how he wanted it to end. Barry leaned in closely and kissed Adam passionately on the lips; Adam kissed back too ever so softly. The tears began to come back as he realized in the kiss Adam had passed away. Barry flew up and carried Adam in his arms up into a tree to lay him to rest, as Barry was about to fly back to the hive; a bird swooped in and took Adams body off the tree branch.
