Glitched Creation

Chapter 1: birth of a skeleton.

Snowdin was quiet amongst the roar of rain hitting the window and the wind singing outside as the storm continued. Many stayed indoors with the heating on and watching tv as they snuggled up to their lovers and family members. Eraser and Reboot Multiverse were in the hospital right now as the storm raged outside. They were currently greeting their baby into the world after a 17 hour labor. Reboot gave a huge final push and fell limp against the hospital bed in exhaustion. The pain faded into nothing and he sighed in relief. He couldn't help but feel accomplished and proud of himself. Finally, his baby was here. "Well done Boots, he's here. Our little boy is here!" Eraser said happily as he held his mate's hand tightly in his own. The others tricoloured bones stuck out against his own white ones and he kissed that hand happily. Reboot smiled Wetly as tears flowed down his flushed cheeks. He had done it, hadn't he? The baby's wailing was the most beautiful sound in the world right now to the two new parents. Sci smiled as he cut the cord and clamped it, rubbing the baby down gently with a towel to clean the small infant of blood and birthing fluid. "Here you go, mama." Sci said as he placed the baby on Reboot's chest. Reboot immediately held his sons back, the towel keeping his son warm as did his body heat that was expelled due to his magic and soul.

Eraser looked at his son and smiled; he was so cute and small. He took the tiny hand in his own gently as Reboot looked down at him. Looking down, he gasped. His son was beautiful! He had his black bones and red and yellow tipped fingers but Eraser's tear marks on his face but in blue. His chest had glowing blue marks on his chest like he did but the little one did something his parents didn't. He glitched. In the early stages of the pregnancy, the two had found out their son would be born with Pixlexia syndrome which was a condition that affected 1 in every 200 babies born multiverse wide. It caused glitching and reboots when stressed but it was manageable. They didn't care and agreed to love their child no matter what.

"He's beautiful." Eraser said with a hiccup. His face hurt, his smile blinding to anyone who saw it. Finally, his son was here! Years ago, if you had told him he'd be married and have a son he wouldn't have believed you but looking down at the baby he and Reboot created with love -and lots of alcohol- he couldn't help but feel strong happiness and love. Reboot chuckled as he wiped his mates tears away as his own. The little one fussed and whined as the movement but slowly began to open his eyes. The parents and doctors gasped as a copy of Reboots eyes opened but they were bigger and innocent looking with tears. "He looks like you." Sci said in shock. That kid was almost identical to his mother.

The baby gurgled and looked at Reboot with innocence and awe. This was his mama? He held Reboots finger tightly in his grip as Reboot smiled down at him and pecked his nose hole causing him to sneeze. Reboot and Eraser giggled at his little antics. "Aren't you sweet?" Eraser said nuzzling the infant gently. "He's gorgeous." The female nurse gushed making Reboot smile even more as he rocked his child and kissed their forehead. Eraser smiled at his husband and son, glad his family was safe and sound. Reboot turned to his husband and smiled. "Wanna hold?" He asked making Eraser nod. "Of course." Reboot lifted his son gently off his chest and gave him to his dad who held him gently in his arms, cocooned in the towel. His son was tiny, only two pounds, six ounces but he was his son and he would protect his child no matter what. Tears built in his eyes. This was the first living thing he had ever created. How could he love something so much?! He didn't know but he loved the small monster in his arms more than anything.

"Hello." Eraser said with a clogged throat as he kissed his son's forehead and watched him in wonder. The child just cooed and yawned, his tiny hands moving a bit. "What's his name?" Sci asked. "Error. Error Rae Swap." Reboot said as the nurse came in with a plastic bath filled with some Luke warm soapy water. "Would you like to bath him?" She asked. Eraser nodded. "Yes I would." The nurse smiled as Eraser walked over and the towel was removed. Like Eraser, the infant had a light blue ectobody. "Put him in the water and support his head above water. Then you can wash him." The nurse said, helping him put Error in the water.

Error's little face scrunched up and he began wailing, the nurse chuckling as Eraser calmed him down. Slowly, Eraser washed his son gently, rocking him when he started crying before drying and dressing him in a nappy and blue and white stripped baby grow and little blue cap.

Once dressed, he was in a Reboots arms again, blue blanket wrapped around him. Reboot fed him before burping him and rocking him to sleep. "Eraser, I love him so much. I will love and cherish him whilst protecting him. Anyone who hurts him will feel my wrath." He promised. Eraser chuckled and kissed his mate's cheek. "Same. We'll protect him together, our little Error." Reboot chuckled tiredly. "Yeah, together."

Deep down Eraser was worried. His twin brother -Ink- was a convicted criminal on the run and had sent threatening messages and letters to them during the pregnancy about how he would take their child and make them suffer like he had done when they reported him to the police and he got arrested. 'Don't worry Error, Reboot, i will protect you both with my life'
