"Kurt!"Kurt snapped out of his daydream and realised he had been staring at Blaine for longer than was considered normal. Kurt looked up to see who had yelled his name and of course it had to be none other than Blaine Anderson, the boy he had been staring at. Blaine was leaning against the desk with his signature gelled down hair, his leather jacket and his honey hazel eyes and..."Kurt snap out of it" he thought.
"Like something you see Hummel?" Blaine winked at Kurt. Blaine was the rebel at McKinley High and got whatever and whoever he wanted. He flirted with people but no one has ever actually seen him with a long term boyfriend...yes boyfriend. Blaine was the second openly gay kid at the school (other being Kurt) and no one seemed to bother him. It probably helped that the one time Karofsky, the bully of McKinley, called Blaine faggot, Blaine punched him in the face and he never got bothered again.
"Yeah, my chair back please." Typically, Kurt replied with a sarcastic statement. "Nerd" Blaine whispered as he walked past Kurt. These two never really got along as Kurt was typically known for being an "innocent" school loving gay boy and Blaine was known as the hot bad boy of the school. Well at least that's what everyone thought but little did Blaine and the rest of the school know Kurt has had a thing for Blaine for ages and although Kurt would never admit it, he had a very big crush on Blaine Anderson. Kurt shot Blaine one of his very famous death glares and Blaine put his hands up as if to say he surrenders and goes to talk to his classmates. As Blaine walks away, Kurt couldn't help but watch him and notice how good Blaine's butt looked in those tight ripped skinny jeans.
However, Kurt was once again snapped out of his thoughts before they could go further by Mr Schue, their glee club teacher walking into the class. Kurt was grateful for Mr Schue interrupting his thoughts before they could go any further but annoyed because a part of him liked thinking about Blaine. "You have a crush on him" Kurt thought. "No I don't" Kurt fought his brain back.
"You don't what Kurt?" Mr Schue asked. Kurt hadn't realised he said that out loud. Kurt blushed and got really embarrassed. Blaine just rolled his eyes at Kurt and told Mr Schue to carry on with glee. Yes, I know what you're thinking a rebel bad boy in glee club isn't possible but you'd be wrong as Blaine Anderson was actually one of the best singers in the school and loved glee club more than anything.
Mr Schue laughed at Blaine's reaction and to Kurt's embarrassment knowing that these boys couldn't see the chemistry they have together and yes their teacher totally shipped them together. Mr Schue carried on with glee explaining how they would be doing Christmas duets together since it was nearly Christmas. Everyone stared at who they wanted to partner with, Finn with Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes, Santana and Brittany, Sam and Quinn, Blaine and Puck and the rest of the club had already decided on their pairs. However, Mr Schue had another idea altogether he would be pairing them together. As Mr Schue told the club the news they all groaned like typical high school kids do when they get paired for projects by the teacher.
Mr Schue started pairing people up, Mercedes got Santana, Finn got Brittany, Puck got Rachel and Quinn ended up with Sam anyway. And Kurt and Blaine were both hoping they didn't get each other but unfortunately their luck had ran out as Mr Schue had a plan.
