When I wake up the next morning, my arm is slung over Jake's chest as the sun began peaking over the horizon. Jake's arm is wrapped around me and his face is buried under his other arm.

I turn and look at the time on the clock behind me. I groan and snuggle closer to Jake. When I hug his side closer to me, he moves a bit. I look up at him as he slowly peaks behind his arm.

"Good morning." I whispered with a smile.

He smiled and hugged me closer.

"Good morning."

I laid there and took in his scent. And having my arm over him, I could feel his muscles. I slowly ran my hand over Jake's chest as he laid there with his eyes closed.

He suddenly rolled over on his side and looked at me. His arm was laying loosely over my hip. He smiled and leaned in, kissing my nose softly. I laughed and tried to scramble away from him.

He gripped me tighter to him.

"Don't go. I just want to stay here." He said.

I laughed, "I can't. We have to go to school."

We continue wrestling for minutes until I was able to squirm out of his grasp. He just laid on my bed and look at me with a sad puppy expression.

"No. Please come back." He said reaching his hand out to me.

I laughed out and reached my hand out to him. Suddenly he reached out and grabbed my wrist and pulled me back onto the bed. He started tickling me as I let out these squeals.

Eventually, I was out of his grasp and walking into the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth, my hair, and washed my face. When I was walking back into my room, Jake was curled into a ball on my bed. He opened his eyes when I opened the door and smiled at me. Smiling back, I walk to my closet and try deciding what to wear.

I picked a plain black t-shirt and a worn down pair of jeans. I quickly grabbed them and walked into the bathroom to get changed. When I came back into the room, Jake was standing up looking at me.

"You do realize we have to go to my house to change." He said with a laugh.

"Yeah, I do." I replied back.

When we were filling into the truck, my phone vibrated. I look down and it's a text from Sophie.

S: Hey, I don't feel good today so I'll be staying home.

Me: Okay. I'll grab your homework assignments and bring them by tonight.

S: Alrighty! Thanks :)

Me: You're welcome :)

We were pulling into Jake's driveway when I noticed two cars sitting there. One was a black Prius and the other was a silver Lexus.

We were walking through the front door when I heard voices echoing in from the kitchen.

I leaned over to Jake and whispered, "Will your parents be angry that you didn't come home last night?"

He just looked at me and shrugged. "I'll just tell them I passed out at Steve's."

Steve was Jake's other best friend, or maybe the only best friend at the moment. He was also on the baseball team but the complete opposite of Tom. He was tall with a well-built body that had broad shoulders and short brown hair. He was sweet and level headed, unlike Tom. Steve has always been pretty kind to me. Never stared at me the way others did so I didn't mind him.

As we walked towards the kitchen, I instantly recognized Jake's Dad, Jared, and his little sister, Sarah. But this time there were two extra bodies. They were two read heads bopping around.
