All those countless sunsets that we had watched together, and the endless trails we explored, the mountains we climbed together and the beaches we lingered on, became a woven tapestry of who we were, and the love we shared. It was the mornings with him, that I always missed the most, waking up next to him, especially when we could linger, and express our innermost thoughts and fears and desires. And sometimes we didn’t need to speak, it was enough to just to kiss and caress each other, and get lost in each other’s eyes and souls.

Of all the souls that have ever caressed mine, his was the most special, and tender, and beautiful.

We gave ourselves freely to each other, never asking for more than the other could give, never wanting more than what we had, always content in knowing each other’s thoughts and dreams. We were a reflection of each other, and what I saw in him was me, as he became my nexus of life, and everything that I could ever possible want.

What we shared, was everything.
