BEAM POV

I waited until Forth left to call Jay back.

I told him Forth was gone to the store and he had better come now. It was probably the only time he would be able to.

I paced back and forth in the kitchen waiting for him to arrive.

I was nervous. A knock sounded at the door making me jump. I opened the door and before I could say anything Jay threw a small paper bag at me and walked in.

I caught it before it hit me in the face.

“How much do I owe you?” I asked pulling out my wallet. He scoffed and grabbed a piece of toast off the table.

“Think of this as me repaying you for the thing you helped me with.” He said shrugging. I nodded and opened the bag.

The bag contained two, small, white velvet ring boxes. I smiled wide and picked both of them up.

I opened one. The small box contained a silver and gold ring with one diamond on the top. I opened the other one and found the same thing. I sighed.

“Thank you, Jay. I really appreciate it.” I said. He shrugged again and stood up.

“Anytime, but not really.” He said patting my shoulders and leaving.

I smiled and closed both ring boxes. I set them on the table so they were in plain view when Forth came in.

I waited for about twenty minutes before Forth finally came home.

I was sitting on the bed when he came in and set the bags on the table next to the boxes.

“I am never going back to that store again. The line was so long, and this woman behind me kept on nagging and nagging about how it wasn’t going fast enough. I mean like it's not my fault the line isn’t going fast eno-” He stopped mid sentence when he spotted the two boxes.

“Forth?” I asked sitting up a little. He picked up one of the boxes.

“Beam.” He said turning around to look at me. “What is this?” He asked. I smiled and stood up, walking over to him.

I laughed at his facial expression and took the box out of his hand.

“It’s for you.” I said opening the box and pulling the ring out. I lifted his right hand and slipped the ring on his middle finger. “So everyone knows that you belong to someone, and I got me one to so they know that someone is me.” I said kissing his hand where the ring was. He chuckled softly.

He turned around and grabbed the other box. He placed it in the same place as his, on my middle finger. He leaned forward and kissed my lips softly.

“I love you.” He said against my lips. I smiled wide and grabbed him by the neck, pulling his back to my lips.

“I love you too.” I said pulling back a little and resting my head against his.

FORTH POV

“Beam, come on or we’re gonna be late.” I said into the bathroom.

I heard Beam groan. I smiled and shook my head.

“I don’t know how to tie a tie.” He said coming out of the bathroom with it practically choking him.

We were getting ready for the wedding and we we’re supposed to have left for already. Beam was taking to long in the bathroom, now I know why.

I laughed and walked over to him to him. I unknotted the tie and smiled.

I tied the tie again, but showed him how to so he didn’t end up choking himself next time.

“There.” I said stepping back. “Now you look handsome.” I said smiling. Beam gasped and grabbed his chest dramatically.

“Are you saying that I don’t look handsome the rest of the time?” He asked stepping closer. I laughed and shook my head.

“I never said that.” I said holding up my finger.

Beam smiled and grabbed my finger to hold my hand. He kept moving closer.

“It’s practically the same thing.” He said moving into to kiss me. I smiled and turned my head giving him my cheek.

“We’re gonna be late.” I said grabbing his jacket and throwing it at him. “Let’s go.” I said grabbing mine and slinging it on.

I walked out the door and heard him growl behind me. I smiled to myself and shook my head.

“Forth!” He yelled behind me. “Why do you have to be like that?” He whined after me. I smiled and ran to the car.

The way to the wedding was silent. I could tell Beam was mean mugging me the whole time.

I couldn’t help but smile. To make him feel better I laid my hand on his thigh.

Even though we left late, we arrived early to the wedding. Wow, I really should watch how fast I go.

“Beam!” Lay, I’m supposing, squealed running up to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tight. “You came.” She said pulling back. Beam laughed and nodded.

“Yeah. You invited me.” He said. She smiled wide.

“Now, where’s your special someone?” She asked looking around.

I felt Beam's hand grab onto mine. He intertwined our fingers and squeezed my hand. He looked up at me with a small smile.

“Lay, this is Forth.” He said introducing me. She looked at me in surprise.

“Oh. Oh my god. Beammie, I’m so happy for you.” She said hugging him again and swinging him back and forth.

This was going to be a long day.
