Tsunami

I stepped on the front porch. I proceeded to knock on the door, no reply. Weird mom never leavs the door unlocked. I proceeded to open the door. My mom is usually the one to let me in the house. (She's probably up stairs). I look up to see the top of the stairs. Why do they seem so far away?I slowly make my way up the stairs. But before I can see over the last step. My alarm clock woke me up. Man how many times do I have to have this dream in order for it to go away?Anyways,I better get out of bed before my mom makes me.

(Gets dressed)

Mom: ''HONEY hurry up before your Late for school".

I rush down the stairs. My mom has this policy,if i'm ready in time,she'll make me toaster strudel. As I sit in my chair I ponder;looking at the chair at the head of the table were my dad used to sit. My mom still won't tell me why he left. She just told me that I'll see him again. I wonder what she meant. Not a day goes by without what she said bothers me.

Mom: " the bus is waiting".

Me: "ok see you later".

Mom: "wait here".

She hand me a stone with an ocean symbol carved in it. The symbol seems to have a blue glint to it. (Blue is my favorite color)

Me: "Were did you get this from?".

Mom: "At the museum I work at. While I was cleaning out the storage area there was a hole in the ceiling and the light that was coming through the ceiling was pointed at the lost and found box so I looked in and saw the stone lying in there so I picked it up".

Me: "Thanks".

                                                 (At school)

???: "Hey".

(I know that high pitched squeal anywhere)

Me:"Hey Izzy. I forgot you rode the bus.(Mostly becauseI forced myself to speed walk to avoid talking to her).

Izzy: "Nelson is looking for you again".

Me: "What now?".

Izzy: "He's mad that you tripped him when he was chasing Chase".

Me:(Snicker)

Izzy:"What's so funny?".

Me:"Get it chasing chase?".

I try to hold in my laughs with a cringe smile. Izzy does not look pleased at my joke.I knew she wouldn't.

Me:"Anyway lets go to....(What the hell?! Did I just hit a brick wall or somthing?)

???:"look who's on the ground now.(snicker)

Me:"Move out of the way,Nelson."

Nelson:"not until you apologize"

Me:"NELSON I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT THE WAY!

Nelson:"why should I...(ahhhgg)

Me:"(what the fuck is wrong with me I totally blew up.... I didn't even nkow I was that strong. Wait the stone mom gave me why is it glowing?

Izzy:"....."

Her eyes look consernd not for nelson but for me.

Izzy:"what is wrong with you!"

Me:"what are you talking about"

Izzy:"what do you mean what do I mean nelson is on the ground rolling in the blood he just spit up!"

Me:"(I PUNCHED HIM THAT HARD)"

???:"What is going on here...Oh My God."

Izzy:"Ms.Leakwell!"
